I read several reviews on this product before deciding to purchase. What a fabulous surprise when I opened the packaging. The bold print with bright colors on the outside of the box immediately caught my eye. The metal container illustrates pretty flowers. I was pleasantly surprised by the two halves and extra pieces. It came with a pencil, pencil sharpener, sponge, and 3 fillable paint brushes with 3 different sized brushes. I’ve only swatched the first row of paint colors and am impressed by the rich colors thus far. The paint easily reacts to water making the swatching a smooth process.

This is a great starter set and then some. Comes with everything someone needs to try their hand at water coloring. Do do up the swatch card it comes with, you’ll find it very helpful. Priced well.

My daughter loves these. She found a new talent and is having an amazing time with all the quality assortments of paint and brushes. She doesn’t have to let it sit for long because it dries rather quickly. And color is amazing. The price was a little high but overall worth it.

I was very excited to get this watercolor set and one of the reasons I picked this one is that I liked the idea of the swatch so that I could see exactly what each color was going to look like, that it lined up with the paints so I could compare one yellow to another and know which one I wanted to use--well as you can see from the picture I posted, the paints do NOT line up with the swatch sheet. The last color on the top row on the swatch says black and it is white. And it isn't just one off or something, on the swatch white is listed as the first color in the last row. And I am sure some people say, so what, just do the color and figure it out, well I can do that with black and white but I have no idea which yellow is Yellow Ochre, Yellow Grey, Lemon yellow, bright yellow or permanent yellow and there is no order that tells me which is which and even if I figured it out for the swatch, how would I then know again which of the pots was that color for the next time--just really frustrating when that was one of the features I really liked with the Grabbie set over some other sets which were less expensive.

I bought this as a birthday present for my great niece - she’ll be ten in November so I haven’t used it. Really nice set - nice colors and came with a bunch of different stuff that I’m sure she’ll enjoy. Kind of had my eye on it but for me - didn’t need anymore art supplies (and I’m super picky)
