I should have stuck with the Apple brand air tag. This device does not always update easily as the Apple air tag does. We put it on our cat who likes to go outside in the neighborhood. We couldn’t get it to update for 25 hours, but we knew she was around because we would see her cross our driveway on our cameras. At least with the Apple air tag we can also use the “find” feature that will show a ring of white dots if they are near and will tell you if you’re getting closer. She had an Apple air tag on last collar and lost the collar in a storm drain, so I thought I would try this thing. I’m not happy with it and will go back to an Apple air tag.

My iphone would only tell me when he was last home. It would not track him. That would help because I would not see him for days at a time-so I atleast knew if he had been home. He lost it.
