Description
The GOYOJO GRS and GRL Series thermal riflescopes help you scan your surroundings, spot heat signatures, and keep track of what you see in low- light conditions. Both series use an uncooled VOx thermal sensor and offer seven thermal color palettes, so you can choose a display that suits your preference and viewing conditions. The GRS series features a 256 × 192 sensor with 12 μm pixels, NETD <35 mK at 25°C, F/1.0, and a 50 Hz refresh rate. Its 25 mm objective lens provides a 7.0° × 5.3° field of view, with 3.5× optical magnification, 1×–8× digital zoom, and 65 mm eye relief. The GRS225 offers algorithmic ranging, while the GRS225RF adds a 905 nm infrared rangefinder with a range of up to 1,000 m (1,093 yd) and ±5 m accuracy, plus intelligent ballistic calculation. The GRL series offers a choice of thermal sensor resolutions: 384 × 288 on the GRL325 and GRL335, and 640 × 512 on the GRL635. NETD is <25 mK at 25°C, F/1.0 for the GRL325 and GRL335, and <20 mK for the GRL635. The GRL325 has a 25 mm objective lens and 3× optical magnification; the GRL335 and GRL635 have 35 mm lenses and 4× optical magnification. All GRL models offer 1×, 2×, 3×, and 4× digital zoom, 50 mm eye relief, and five reticle types with five color options. Both series include useful viewing and recording tools such as picture-in-picture, hot tracking, image enhancement, photo and video capture, and recoil-activated recording. RAV and Wi-Fi app support help you review and manage recorded media. Storage and battery life vary by model: GRS models include 32GB storage and provide approximately 7–9 hours of operation; GRL models include 64GB storage, with approximately 6–8 hours on the GRL325 and GRL335 and about 4 hours on the GRL635. Weather protection and recoil ratings also vary by series. GRS models are rated IP67 and tested to 800 g/0.4 ms; GRL models are rated IP65 and tested to 1,000 g/0.4 ms. Both the GRS and GRL Series are intended for commonly used rifle setups with recoil no greater than a standard .308 Winchester or 7.62×51 mm NATO setup, when properly installed. Do not use with higher-recoil magnum calibers, such as .300 Winchester Magnum or .338 Lapua Magnum. Recoil varies with the specific rifle, ammunition, and mounting configuration.

Great entry to mid level thermal optic for hunting and night use. Clear image, easy to use, and excellent value for the price. Would absolutely recommend. After spending some time using this thermal optic for night hunting and general outdoor use, I’ve been genuinely impressed especially considering the price point. I wasn’t expecting top-tier performance, but it definitely exceeded expectations in the areas that matter most. Out of the box, everything was packaged well and felt more premium than expected. It comes with a solid carrying case, charger, mounting hardware, and accessories that make it feel like a complete kit rather than something barebones. Setup was quick and straightforward. Performance-wise, this is where it shines. Detection is strong, I’ve been able to pick up animals clearly at distances, and heat signatures stand out well even in less-than-ideal conditions. The image clarity is surprisingly crisp, and switching between color palettes helps depending on terrain and lighting. For hunting, it gives you a real advantage spotting movement and identifying targets at night. The controls are simple and intuitive. I didn’t need to dig through a manual to get comfortable using it, which is a big plus in the field. The focus adjustment is smooth, and once dialed in, it holds clarity well without constant tweaking. Build quality feels sturdy and durable. It doesn’t feel cheap or fragile, and it held up well during use outdoors. The included case is a nice bonus for protecting it during transport. If I had to nitpick, the app/software side could be improved..it works, but feels a little basic. Also, like most thermals in this range, zooming digitally does reduce clarity somewhat, but that’s expected and not a dealbreaker. I was an early adopter of the GOYOJO thermal scope in an Indiegogo campaign so I have had plenty of time to try out its capabilities. Spoiler alert: I liked it so much that I purchased a second one here on Amazon. The GOYOJO thermal scope offers impressive performance for its budget-friendly price point, standing out for its sensitive optics, durable build quality, and a solid, integrated mount. It uses a high-performance 384x288 resolution sensor with a 12μm pixel pitch and is advertised as having a Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) of less than 25mK. In comparison to another big name thermal that I own, I have no doubt about this statement. This high thermal sensitivity allows the optics to capture fine temperature details and differentiate objects from their background, even in challenging conditions like fog or low light. With a 55Hz refresh rate, it provides smooth, real-time tracking of moving targets, which is essential for hunting and surveillance. According to GOYOJO, the GRL335's large 35mm lens has a detection range of 1,968 yards, though I have not tested it beyond 500 yards at which it performs admirably. The GOYOJO GRL is robustly constructed and includes solid mounting hardware which helps it maintain zero even after rough handling. The compact and streamlined body is made from aluminum-magnesium alloy, making it durable and capable of withstanding significant recoil. I tested it on a hard hitting .300 PRC. It is also IP65-rated for weather resistance. Additionally, it has a compact footprint, which leaves ample rail space for other accessories. The clear 1024x768 OLED display reduces eye strain. The Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode allows for magnified views while retaining a full field of view. Final Thoughts: The GOYOJO GRL335 is an excellent entry-level or mid-range thermal scope that offers a strong balance of performance and value. Its highly sensitive sensor, impressive build quality, and solid mounting system provide hunters with reliable, clear thermal imaging at a fraction of the cost of premium optics.

Amazing Budget Friendly Thermal Scope

Solid, reliable thermal scope for night hunting. The image is amazingly clear in complete darkness, and target tracking is seamless. Assembly is super sturdy and holds zero true shot after shot. The 1-shot sight-in works flawlessly to save time and ammo, and the battery life easily lasts through long night sits. Recoil-activated video is a great bonus. Highly recommend for any hunter looking for top quality!

I’ve had this for just under a year, and am very impressed with it. I have an ATN 384 2x-8x 25mm that is several years old, and this one is much clearer for a fraction of the cost. Well worth the asking price. Zero stays correct when zooming in, and it does everything I need it to. It’s very well thought out, from the qd mount to the attached lens cover. If I ever need another thermal, I will definitely look at this brand first

Great thermal scope

Goyojo's new thermal GRL series scopes are fantastic options for beginners and experienced thermal users alike. Super easy to use, these scope packages come with multiple mounting options, 2 different size eye cups, 1 18650 battery and charger, Lense protector , 64GB micro SD card for videos and photos and connect to an app for live feed. They are light weight and the quality is excellent. 4 buttons operate these scopes making it easy to zoom in and out, change color palettes, record videos and take pictures and change settings. The series also has a one shot sight in function, making is super easy to adjust wehn sighting in the scope. All in all, a great scope backed by a 5 year warrenty. I attached photos of both the GRL 325 and GRL 335 to show the differences in them. Definitely a great value for the money.

Better than a $4000 costing competing unit

We use this to spot birds that would be obscured by vegetation in visible light. It works very well for that purpose, both in bright daylight as well as in total darkness. I had a chance to compare this to a $4000 costing unit from that well-known four-letter brand. The conclusion was clear: This unit performs better for one quarter the price. It has more features and the image is actually better than that other brand. It is also has a much more sturdy build than that $4000 unit; the whole housing is made of powder coated metal alloy and has a professional feel. The replaceable 18650 standard lithium cell that powers it also is a nice touch. The one that came with it is of low capacity, but I put a Panasonic NCR18650B in there (the best there is), and it lasts a long time. The $4000 unit from that earlier mentioned competitor does not let you change a battery; when the lithium battery is at it's end, you need to have it professionally replaced. NOT so for this one. The only thing that I found a bit worrisome is not performance or quality related. it has to do with the manual. It supports two languages; English, but also..... Russian. That made me wonder. When looking at human beings through this scope, in pitch dark environments, they will stick out like a sore thumb even at distances of a mile and more. I think you are getting my drift....

Goyojo just keeps getting better!

To say I've become obsessed with this companies thermal optics is an understatement. You just can't get this kind of quality for the same money anywhere else. I already own a couple of their other products so when I started looking for a thermal for my new rifle I knew exactly where to go. First off the built in QD mounting system is great, holds just as well as really high dollar mounts I've purchased in the past. Battery life really surprised me, lasts long enough for multiple hunts easy. They stayed true to keeping everything easy to adjust and navigate. They kept everything from the past while adding new features to this model. I can't wait to see what they have coming in the near future!
