I was an early adopter of the GOYOJO thermal scope in an Indiegogo campaign so I have had plenty of time to try out its capabilities. Spoiler alert: I liked it so much that I purchased a second one here on Amazon. The GOYOJO thermal scope offers impressive performance for its budget-friendly price point, standing out for its sensitive optics, durable build quality, and a solid, integrated mount. It uses a high-performance 384x288 resolution sensor with a 12μm pixel pitch and is advertised as having a Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) of less than 25mK. In comparison to another big name thermal that I own, I have no doubt about this statement. This high thermal sensitivity allows the optics to capture fine temperature details and differentiate objects from their background, even in challenging conditions like fog or low light. With a 55Hz refresh rate, it provides smooth, real-time tracking of moving targets, which is essential for hunting and surveillance. According to GOYOJO, the GRL335's large 35mm lens has a detection range of 1,968 yards, though I have not tested it beyond 500 yards at which it performs admirably. The GOYOJO GRL is robustly constructed and includes solid mounting hardware which helps it maintain zero even after rough handling. The compact and streamlined body is made from aluminum-magnesium alloy, making it durable and capable of withstanding significant recoil. I tested it on a hard hitting .300 PRC. It is also IP65-rated for weather resistance. Additionally, it has a compact footprint, which leaves ample rail space for other accessories. The clear 1024x768 OLED display reduces eye strain. The Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode allows for magnified views while retaining a full field of view. Final Thoughts: The GOYOJO GRL335 is an excellent entry-level or mid-range thermal scope that offers a strong balance of performance and value. GOYOJO GRL325 Thermal is amazing. This thermal scope is way better than I expected. It works perfectly for my needs. The thermal comes with everything needed included in the covenant and sturdy carry case. The controls and software have been easy to manage. With very straightforward instructions and awesome product support learning was easy and fast. It has WiFi and video recording capabilities included. This is a very well built piece of equipment rivaling much more expensive equipment. I was surprised at how secure and tight the quick disconnect mounting system works. The scope not only has a great mounting system, but it also comes with a supplied cantilever mounting plate in case you need to get it a little higher or farther back to your eye. There is also an additional rubber eye cup that can be changed to custom fit for your comfort. With the quick disconnect mount the thermal is exceptionally easy to remove and reinstall without any issues and can be programmed to be use on multiple platforms as well as used as a hand held for scanning and detecting. The multiple display colors and plenty of reticles to choose from are awesome. The display adjustments are great to easily optimize the display give me a sharp crisp image set for my eyes. It’s clearly designed to give hunters and shooters access to thermal optics without the usual multi-thousand-dollar price tag—and for the most part, it succeeds. Performance & Image Quality The GRL 335 runs a 384×288 sensor with a 55Hz refresh rate, which is pretty standard for entry-level thermals. In real-world use, it delivers usable clarity for spotting and short-to-mid-range identification. Zoom & Usability One of the biggest trade-offs is the fixed 4x base magnification. That’s great for distance shooting. On the plus side, the controls are simple, the interface is beginner-friendly, and features like One Shot Zero make setup quick and painless.
