Absolutely love this board. Got up first try off my dock and flew 1 mile across my lake in just a few minutes with a huge smile on my face. I’m 6’3” 215lbs and would guess that it goes 30-35 mph top speed with me, which is more than fast enough. For comparison, I wake board at around 20mph so this can go about twice as fast as that. It will go even faster if you weigh less than 215 and I think the 40mph spec is with a 165-pound rider. I’m giving this 5 stars, as it is one of my favorite things and the most fun I’ve had in a while, but there are still some pros and cons I wanted to point out to potential buyers. Pros: 1) Amazing value compared to competition. I have wanted a jetboard for a long time but others cost $12K+ with lower top speed (25mph) and smaller battery (45min). This is the first board I’ve seen that is affordable for me and it’s 1/3 of the price of competitors with better specs. 2) High quality materials and great build quality. Eyelet connection on the front of the board (that you pull against when getting up and balancing) is carbon fiber and took a bunch of force from me without budging. Fins are also carbon fiber and hold up great through high-speed turns and lower speed sharp turns. Board is high quality fiberglass (I think) and there is not a scratch on it after multiple uses and bumps. 3) Trigger speed control is intuitive and feels great. Speed in controlled with a trigger attachment and is extremely intuitive from the first use. The more you pull the trigger, the fast the board goes. 4) Battery size. Specs say 60 minutes, but one charge lasts me all day on the lake (at my current level of fitness). I can currently board continuously for about 10 min at a time and usually take it in after about 30-45 min in the lake before going out again later. 5) Easy to use but always more to learn. I have not had extensive experience wakeboarding or surfing but was able to get up first try starting from my dock. Starting from the water took a little longer but gave me an amazing feeling of accomplishment the first time I got up and was easy after that. It was fun immediately but also something I can learn and grow with. 6) Customer service. Timely responses from the seller (always within 1 day) and able to answer all my questions. Possible Cons: 1) Weight. Board weighs 20kg (45 pounds) and battery weighs 25kg (55 pounds). This hasn’t been an issue for me at all and I’m able to easily load up the board and battery in my car (for the beach) or carry them to my dock. Just know that it is a little on the heavy side and moving it will require 2 trips (one for the board, and one for the battery) or help from a friend. I would imagine all jetboards have similar weight so not really a con when comparing to other jetboards. 2) Fin attachment. There is no snap in attachment for the fins and they must be screwed to the bottom of the board when you take it out. For me, this just means 5 minutes to attach the fins in the morning and 5 minutes to remove them at the end of the day. Small annoyance but something to be aware of. The media could not be loaded. I went with the black 90 minute battery / board. The product came in its own storage box that resembles a giant guitar travel case. Photo attached - the battery was mounted in the board and charger and other hardware packed nicely below. It also came with a fairly nice travel bag. I set the bindings up regular with left foot in front. Front foot is staggered on the heal edge and back foot is toward the toe edge - that is fairly important for turning and weight distribution from my limited experience. Cons from the start - board fully equipped and battery each weigh about 60lbs. Not so much of a con since all competitors are similar, thought the board alone would be lighter. Secondly, I never received tail fins… Manual and other reviewer notes they are included/to be installed. Appears to have three tail fin attachments. I was still able to use and turn, but would help with the beginners for sure. I am working with support on seeing if these were to be included. Update - seller has notified me they will be providing the fins. Getting up and Learning to ride was quick - few minutes tops for my friends and I. Note that we all ski, snowboard, wakeboard, and or surf to begin with. Top Speed for me is hitting 24mph~ at the moment, this is slower than preferred. I am currently working with the manufacturer on software updates that may be able to be performed to enhance calibration. Update - customer service / fabricators have been prompt and great to work with. I plan on seeing a bit higher speeds at the cost of more battery use, which I am on with. Of the multiple times used now (including friends), I never used more than 50% charge. I have taken it to two lakes, it is faster and a bit more fun on a calm lake, although a choppy lake brings its own type of adrenaline. Overall I recommend this product. ... show more

I purchased two boards, and both of them came without the fins, I do not see where to order them from. Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm a surfing enthusiast.I recently bought an GOYOJO electric surfboard and wanted to share my thoughts after testing it out. Overall, this board is a great value with tons of style options to suit different needs. First off, at only $3999, it's way more affordable than competitors' models with similar performance. You get a lot of bang for your buck here. I weigh 130 pounds This baby can hit speeds up to 35 miles/H for an intense, fast ride. Unlike old-school gas boards, it runs on a convenient rechargeable battery, The machine continued to work after 70 minutes of use and I was so tired I had to stop！ The seller promises 2 week shipping but I got mine in just 10 days - super fast delivery. They even throw in a transformer so I can fully juice up in 3-4 hours, how cool is that! One awesome feature that wasn't listed on the product page is the ability to set a boundary zone so your board doesn't drift away. There are also two speed modes to toggle between high and low as you want. Lots of customization for your needs. I will say the battery size makes the board a bit heavy and awkward, but it's a small price to pay for killer battery life. Overall, this electric surfboard definitely delivers big thrills at a small price. If you're looking for an affordable, high-performing ride, this one's your best bet!
