    • A Premium Heater
I specifically wanted a smart heater and one that has good performance. This is it. It is the first Govee heater I've owned but based on my research and now based on first hand use, I would totally recommend any line of Govee heaters. I've tried Lasko heaters and they are OK but don't have any smart ones. I was going to pull the trigger on Atomi but I'm glad I landed on this one. All the smart functions work flawlessly, AND very responsive on the app. It has all the smart functions you would expect. It works well with Alexa. If the heater tips over, it does actually turn off AND it notifies you on the app. Performance. It has 3 heating settings, and the highest setting on it does get pretty hot, hotter than the Lasko heaters I have tried. The settings are just heat settings and not fan settings, i.e. all heating settings have one fan speed. It heats up our master bedroom of about 300sqft pretty fast. I am just guessing, but I would presume the different sizes/models of Govee heaters do scale with heating performance (1500W doesn't really much since it is just the rating and not the actual). For this one, I did measure the stabilized current at each setting with a current meter: 6.1A at low, 8.6A at medium, and 13.1A at high. NOTE: I did notice that when set to high, it has a ramp up current all the way to 15-16A, so this may trip your 15A breaker. You are able to turn off the light if you don't want it, but is awesome if you want a night light as you can change the brightness of it. It has a basic inlet screen in the back that you simply just remove/vacuum up the dust. The fact that you can set it in two positions makes it more versatile than pretty much all the other heaters out there on the market. ... show more

I am extremely impressed with the quality so far. one review says it doesn't oscillate which isn't true, the fins oscillate so it does direct heat in a wide area, the lights are awesome but I do wish they would stay on all the time rather then having to turn on again after cutting heater off. Like a always on night light mode. Seems to put a lot of heat out, the wifi option and also having a paired govee thermometer away from heater is genius. This should have been done years ago as a thermostat inside a space heater can never be accurate. I have a " thermostat " (govee thermo sensor) 10 feet away so the house will heat until it reaches desired temp there. That alone makes it worth the price, I hope longevity is there because if so this is a home run. You won't regret it, set up was extremely easy. ... show more

Size is great, footprint small and easy to put against wall when not in use. App is super easy and reliable. I like the fancy lights because it’s an extra reminder if it is on. The range auto setting is nice, deflection of heat is super nice too, does not heat my floor that way like others, 3 settings and all from phone. Thicker cord than other stand alone heaters, longer too, which is nice since it needs to go directly in wall. Quiet, can dim light. I like the Govee products. For the sale price (40 off) it’s far worth it, same price point as others. Only ‘cheap’ feeling part is the knob on side but you control from your phone so doesn’t matter much.     • Good on paper, doesn't deliver, and expensive for no reason
So I got the H7135, and I really liked it, so I thought to get another heater. I liked this one because of the display; it can work as a fan and can be used vertically or horizontally. Pros: 1) Display allows for temperature adjustment on the unit itself. 2) There is a washable filter. 3) Can be positioned vertically or horizontally. Cons: 1) The fan is noisy and the sound fluctuates, which makes it harder to ignore. 2) The fan is so weak that you have to be almost touching it to feel any airflow when it's running (runs the same at all the settings). 3) There is no advantage to the larger size compared to the H7135; it just costs 3-5 times more (depending on the current promotions on the respective items) without any apparent benefit for the extra size. Neutral: 1) Night light feature is still very bright at the lowest setting (1%), which seems like another unnecessary feature that increases the cost. 2) If I adjust the temperature below the ambient temperature, it warns me every single time that the heater will not run because I am setting it below the ambient temperature. Yes, I know, that's the point. I want the heater to start in case the temperature drops below a certain level. This is an app issue, and it does that for all the models. They should add an option "don't warn me again" or something. ... show more

    • Great Look and Features - Strong Smell When Open
For people who are chemically sensitive as I am, I will start out by saying you may want someone to open this for you and let it air out for a few days before you use it. There is a super strong chemical smell when you first take it out of the box. After a few days I could still smell it when I walked in the room where it was unboxed and sitting. This is a good looking heater with a lot of features that you don't see in a lot of room heaters. I was on the fence but being able to control it from my phone was the game changer for me. I didn't want another remote control because I get them all mixed up because there are so many. So, I like the ease of use. This is typical for heat output and I wasn't sure if the value was there. However, with the coupon they are offering now, it is reasonable. I don't think it justifies that much an increase without it though. I like that I can change the position of this heater too. That is not something I have had before. This is a very innovative heater with great features. ... show more
