Okay so I bought this for post op healing after a fat transfer surgery so my review is going to have a lot of random information most people won't need. My surgery removed the fat out of my abdomen and the fat rolls below my bra line on my back and moved it to my breasts. Recovery for this requires compression garments for the lipo treated areas and absolutely no compression on the fat transfer site. This left me needing a compression top that actually covered the lower area of my shoulders while being open face in front and this was the only shirt I could find that encompassed all of my needs. At my 7 day follow up appointment today I told them I replaced the ones I was sent home with (they didn't cover the full treated area of my back rolls) with these and they said this is great. I ordered this in medium originally and then ordered it in small for a bit more compression. Both work well to hold things in, the small does have a noticeable difference but isn't uncomfy. I'm 5'3 and about 180lbs (185 currently with all the swelling) The small took a bit more work to get over my booty (I step into mine) but it doesn't dig in awkwardly anywhere and fits really well after it's on, so if you're unsure what size to get, I think it just depends what level of compression you would like. I've been in these nonstop for 3 days now and they're SO much more comfortable than my doctor office garments. Those ones I would wake up with back aches from the compression and would have to go for a walk in the moddle of the night to work it out, but these suck me in without the pain. The material is a bit thick as well so I would keep that in mind during summer. Also it mostly stays in place. It rides up a tad (maybe an inch, if that) in my sleep but else it's fixed. I have other compression tanks that would ride/roll up all the time but this one has like a line of rubber at the bottom of the shirt at the inside seam that seems to do wonderfully holding this down on me. Well what can I say about this. First of all, let me say I love it. As I age my body has gone in directions I had hoped it wouldn’t, lol. As a result I have been experimenting with different types and styles of shapewear. This is different in several ways. It obviously wears as a tank top as opposed to a bodysuit. This comes in very handy for different times, like consumption of beers (restroom stops). It has just the right amount of spandex to hold me tight and define my not so perfect shape without compression. That means I can wear this for long periods of time very comfortably. Yesterday I wore it all day and part of the evening. I did not sweat in it or overheat. It kept the belly roll away. The part I love the best is the way it wraps around my breasts. It pulls my cleavage both in and up to put me back where I was 20 years ago… sigh! It really does a lot to define my curves in total comfort. It also is fantastic as a smoother. It wears close to a slip in that area. Now, if you are looking to alter your shape with firm control shapewear, this may not be for you. I really like it except for sizing is off. Quality is good, price is right. Story is, I had a bilateral breasts removal and also fat grafting from my abdomen. I bought these so I have something to use once I’m done using my binder. So when I was still swollen, it feels good because it gives you the hug and compression feeling. But now that I lost the swelling, it feels big on me. I bought the medium size without checking the numbers on the sizing. The medium was so tight that I had to return it. Then I found out that their LARGE size is 10-12, and MEDIUM is 6-8. What happened to 8-10? I’m 5’1” and was 131-133 2 weeks post-op so it fits but now I’m down to 127 lbs, it’s somewhat loose now. I need that HUG feeling! And since I’m short, it’s a little bit long for me! Lol ;) I took out one star because of the incorrect sizing. I wish there is size 8-10. The large is big for me and their medium is too small/tight I can’t even make it pass my hips, which is only like 34 inches. Overall, I still like it! ;)

I liked these so much, I ordered a second set. I used the size chart and got an XL. I did read some reviews that said this product rolls up. While that may be the case for some women, I have noassatall, so I do not have that problem. The hem has this sticky type stuff on the inside of the hem that seams to be what keeps the bottom in place. I have worn these both with my own bra, and without any bra. The way these are cut, they seem to support the girls, so you really can't tell the difference. At least not according to my husband. (Yes, I asked.) When not wearing a bra, you don't have that back wing under your arms. That changes depending on the bra. As far as this being shapewear... It really IS. Everything is sucked in and stays put. The garment is a little difficult to get on at first, but once on, it is quite comfortable. I recommend stepping into it and pulling it up over your hips. I would never have been able to pull this on over my head. I really love this Gotoly Women's Waist Cincher Tummy Control Shapewear Compression Vest set.

I will admit when I first opened the package and looked at this I thought there is no way I will fit in this. I ordered a 3XL and actually thought maybe they sent the wrong size. Fit like a glove! I do recommend that you put it on as you would a skirt. Makes it MUCH easier to get on. This is really comfortable and while it squeezes everything in, I still fee like I can breathe like a normal human being. The material feel like it is thick, but it breathes incredibly well. I can wear this in 90 degree weather and not sweat like I have in Spanx. Plus the way it is designed with the open bust, the sides help push your girls more to the front, helping your bra do its job :) I need to order another in nude and hope maybe they will make it in white.

If you have a long torso, don’t even bother! These tanks lacked about 3-4 inches coming down to where I needed them to. I thought with wide straps they wouldn’t dig in, but I was wrong. Also it rolls up the first time you bend over. I even ordered a size up and still had these issues.

I wanted something that held things in and not just smooth things out and this tank did it. I originally purchased an XL, based on the size chart, and found it to be a little too big and immediately ordered a L. I found that the fabric was soft and felt durable. It's not too stretchy, but stretchy enough, which gives it that compression I wanted. For reference, I am ~200 lbs, triangle shaped (wide shoulders and narrow hips), and fuller stomach, and most likely also have diastasis recti from 3 c-sections. For reference, my waist is ~38. The L-sized tank easily took at least an inch off my waist, however it did not "snatch" it. To be fair, my waistline has always been straight and I don't think I will ever find a product that will snatch it without me feeling like I can't breath. Imagine how you look when you suck in your belly and tighten your muscles; this tank did exactly that without me putting in the effort. I've worn the tank all day and it stayed put and did not roll up. There are a couple of things that could improve this product for me: First is the length - I have a longer torso and I would have preferred this tank be a bit longer. Second is the rubber/plastic used to prevent the tank from riding up started to pull on my skin and became very irritating. Overall, this tank is a win for me. Update: after wearing this a few different times, I've found that the type of bra makes a difference in comfortability. It makes some bras with wires dig into you and push up bras make the straps on the tank quite uncomfortable. Keeping it at a 4 stars because it's still works well for me.
