I recovered my dining room chair seats and wanted to increase the comfort by doubling the existing foam. This was perfect and was able to do all four chairs with one roll.     • Fixed up an old pair of car seats

I used this foam, 3" thick high density, to repair some very old car seats. The old foam had turned to powder and this worked really well to replace it. It glued easily with 3M contact adhesive and gave a firm and comfortable seat pad once it was re-installed. This foam is exactly what I was looking for- I purchased a wood framed sofa and chair for our sunroom but the cushions were OLD and smelly. So I needed to replace them- I ordered this foam and some fabric and they turnout perfect!! Ian so happy with the foam I am going to order more to replace the cushions in our chairs on our front porch which are new but the stuffing is so soft you sink to the bottom! My patio cushions were really starting to flatten out but the covers were still in great shape, so I hated to replace them. Bought the 2 inch foam, cut them to size and added it to the cushion. Now, they look great and are much more comfortable, even better than when they were new! The one on the right is before and the left is the one with the added foam. I purchased this foam to make my couch more comfortable to sleep on ....I had to cut a few inches off the bottom but it fit the couch and the 5 inches made a very comfortable "mattress topper", or should I say couch topper. I will store it away, when the couch is no longer needed to be slept on, and bring it out if I have guests that may need to sleep on the couch. ... show more
