This foam is very good, dense quality foam. It is slightly less than 2" described, in case anyone needs precisely 2". It is between 1 and 6/8" and 1 and 7/8". This foam is nice but not as firm as I thought it should be from the description. I don’t think it will last long on our counter stools but for now it is better than what we had. Also, my first order never came so I had to reorder which put my project behind by two weeks

I was skeptical because of the reviews but I’m happy I ended up purchasing! Bought this for my massage table. I went with the firm one and honestly it’s amazing. Yes if you squeeze it with your fingers it’s going to look and feel like it has no cushion but when laid down on intro even sitting the air fills the pad and the softness of the cushion evens out. This has a great feel. I would buy this again. Mine didn’t come with a yellow stain but even if it did it seems it’s more of a fabric coloring issue not pee or something nasty. I place a table warmer on top of the pad plus a table warmer then a fitted water proof sheet. Holds everything in place and I get no complaints. Def recommend! ... show more

I've been upholstering furniture for 20 years and this is a good quality foam. It's far superior to anything you'll find in local craft and fabric stores. That stuff's too mushy.
