Note: I have never played pickleball before purchasing this set. However, I do have tennis experience for what it's worth! From what I've see online, a 4 paddle set with 4 balls under $30 seems like a great value to me. What you see in the product picture is what you get. It has everything you need to get started. The paddles themselves feel sturdy and don't feel like they will break any time soon! If you are a beginner looking to check out the new pickleball rage, get this set and you won't regret the purchase. And even if, it doesn't work out, it's a great toy to have little kids waste some of their energy on while you enjoy a cold one! The only con I noticed, is maybe with the ball. I do not have much experience with how the balls should react or work, but we noticed the ball would sometimes bounce off the floor at an odd angle. Not sure if this is normal, or due to some flaw in the ball manufacturing process. Get it and have fun with it! ... show more

Paddles seem to be good quality, balls maybe a bit to light for the wind outdoors but really not an issue. Don't know much about pickleball but my nephews, sister and myself had so much fun just hitting the ball back and forth. Were not really rules or point followers and its still a blast. Bad mitten used to be our thing but I think its pickleball now. Im lucky to have pickleball courts a short walk from the house but we also played in the street and it was just as fun. ... show more

These pickleball paddles are made of wood but have a cool paint design on them. It's awesome that they come in a four pack, plus two balls and a drawstring carry bag. I think the paddles will hold up well and we look forward to using them often.

For the price point, this would check off all the boxes to get started with a beginner entering the Pickleball scene. The quality of the paddles and balls should last a long time for any player. What makes this set stand out is what you get compared to others. 4 paddles. 4 balls and a backpack type carrying case. This is a great way to go considering you have the capability of a full 4 player game and plenty of balls for backup or just to have to relieve chasing down 1 or 2 constantly.
