I didn't know what to expect with an umbrella that opened and closed itself, but it is neat for what it does do. It fully opens on it's own and only closes the canopy when you push the close button. Any help beats no help at all and pushing the last bit of stem handle back isn't that big of a deal. We got them exclusively for traveling, since they are easy to carry in the side pouches for bottles on the side of our book bags. They are of very good quality and are wind resistant, so for the money, they are well worth buying. They are as good, if not better than the regular compact umbrellas. Would buy again. ... show more
