In addition to getting a sore back - like most people - from sitting in an office chair for too many hours a day, I also have a diagnosed lower back condition; having proper lower back support is therefore pretty important to me. This memory foam Gorilla grip lumbar pillow does a great job of offering support, easily fitting to your back; it fits well in every office chair we own. The double strap and better then average non slip back on this cushion makes this a good choice for office chair use, it is pretty comfortable, easy to install and has a washable cover, it does have that chemical smell when you open it, but it did dissipate after a couple of days.

I have dealt with a back injury for over 25 years and as anyone with a back problem knows, it gets worse with time, not better. It was so uncomfortable for me to drive in our car that I had sewn a small pillow to put behind my back plus I rolled up a beach towel and tucked it above the pillow. Driving for any amount of time was nearly torture but this lumbar pillow has changed all that for me. For the first time in years, I have no pain while driving. The grip dots on the back of the pillow help keep it in place. There are two straps that could be used for an office chair or dining chair. They're not long enough to go around my car's seat but I haven't had one issue with it moving or sliding out of place while I'm driving. It's thick yet comforms perfectly to support my back. The material it is made from is cool to the touch and doesn't cause me to sweat. The covering is washable, and I really appreciate that fact. My car seats are black so this pillow blends in rather than calling attention to itself. I am extremely pleased with this lumbar support pillow and absolutely would recommend it to others who need extra support for the lumbar portion of their backs. ... show more

This has the dimensions listed but it's only 4" deep at the thickest part of edge, the center of pillow is concave. I use it with another pillow behind to suit my needs. It's well made and the straps hold it in place. Check measurement with your chair and also your body type; not sure this is big enough for someone of larger stature (I'm 5'6" 130lb female) ... show more

I tried it on my office chair, but I kept slipping down into the seat and was uncomfortable. I can't tell if it was my chair or the back support. Now I've put the cushion on my Yukon passenger seat, where I usually sit. Feels comfortable just sitting in the seat with the lumbar support. I can only make a final review once we take a trip. If everything I've read about it is true, it will make for a more comfortable journey.
