I have used this for a few months because my son was making a mess in the bathroom. It’s very absorbent to a certain point. If you’re child is spilling copious amounts of water onto the rug will stop absorption. It probably took close to a gallon on water before it just couldn’t absorb the water anymore. I put it into the washer, selected spin cycle only, put it in the dryer and mopped the floor while it was drying. Took about 40-45 minutes to dry in the dryer. It was impressive compared to other bathroom rugs I had in the past. I highly recommend this rug. It absolutely absorbed more than I expected was possible. When used correctly it is pretty much dry after I come back after getting out of the shower and getting dressed. I can wear my socks and walk on it and not even get my socks damp.     • I thought it would grip the floor better.
I ordered two of the Gorilla Grip Bath Rugs. The smaller was ordered first to see if I liked the rug and color. The second was ordered later. Same color but larger size. I've had them in my guest bathroom ever since them arrived. They look great but was disappointed that they do slide around on my tile floor. The larger one by the bathroom door and has to be adjusted often. The second is by the shower and toilet. It also has to be adjusted a lot. This is a new house with all new tile and wood floors. I'm disappointed with the grip of the rug. We are two elderly adults living in this house and are concerned about how the rugs move every time we walk on them. ... show more

Ordered several in a couple sizes. While they were the soft expected texture of chenille that I wanted, they are too thin. The backing keeps it from sliding around as described, but because they are thin layered on the back, they roll up extremely easily if your foot strikes the edge. And my least favorite......the thinness of the backer offers no cushioning or support. I literally can still feel the tile under my feet through the rug. Would not buy again. ... show more

I put this bathmat (green color) in front of my bathroom sink ad I Love It! It is soft and absorbent and I Love the color too! My indoor Cat Loves it as well :-) She has claimed it as her daytime nap spot. I think the green color makes her feel she is napping outside on the beautiful green grass! I washed and dried it per the tags before using it and it came out so nicely! I highly recommend this rug! ... show more

The rug and toilet seat cover (which does fit elongated) are great except they are green. I assumed a color named 'Sea Blue' would be a shade of blue. I checked that they sent right color. Marked Sea Blue but still green.

I got this mat specifically to protect my dog from the hot rubber floor mat in my van. He loves yellow and went for it right away. We put it in the van, and he laid down on it the whole time he we traveled instead of shifting around and popping up like he normally does with other mats or towels. I’m pretty sure he loves it and approves of the purchase. It’s a little thinner than some similar mats I have bought but it’s easier to wash that way. ... show more

So much nicer than a pricier brand. A very good size to step out of shower or bath onto. Absorbs any residual water quickly and does not stay wet-keeping your feet mostly dry. Good rubber backing for no accidental movement. I hang outside to dry-lest the backing doesn't wear out. Very good value.

I purchased a small mat and a larger mat in gray. They are very pretty and the perfect size for our small bathroom. The only bit of a disappointment is that the grip is not the best, so you have to always straighten them.
