This mat was a smart buy! Have been using this Gorilla Mat for a quite a while in the shower. It does the job of providing a comfortable bumpy tactile surface to avoid slips and falls. Easily washable in my top loading washer with no problem. Perfect solution for a safer shower or bath tub surface, since Gorilla makes these are made in both the tidy square that I bought and rectangular size as well. Highly recommend.

Works great but size matters and it is much smaller than I expected. My bad but I stay in one place more . This is a very stable and well made shower mat. . The teal color really makes my shower stall pop and I feel safer now after falling a couple times in the past. I’ve shared this info with my relatives nearby who have new homes like me and they are going to get these mats also. There was a 15 year old near us that died after slipping in the showers few months ago..

We needed additional safety in using our shower stall yet also wanted a pop of color so we purchased the blue version. The suction cups work great as long as one keeps the floor clean. Being a clean freak, this works wonderfully. Being handicapped ♿ this helps us stay safer when showering.

I have no idea what the other reviewers were reviewing, but I had trouble with this mat from the get-go. It was hard to get it to stick to the shower floor right out of the package, it was uncomfortable to stand on, and worst of all it was slippery when wet! I'm going back to my loofa shower mat, which wasn't perfect but at least it was secure.
