I had this type of rug (but longer) for over 4 years now. We moved and had to get a smaller version of it, and I still love it! It absorbs water very well, so you don't constantly feel wet after just drying off, and it's very comfortable. It provides a lot of support for your feet if standing in place (this is good for those with bad backs!). It's very light-weight, sticks to the floor without moving, fits the area outside our tub well, and looks and feels comfortable. A wonderful product. No other product like it.

I tried a bath mat similar to this one at a relatives house and was surprised at how comfortable and absorbent it was despite not being that thick. We've had cheap, slightly thicker memory foam mats that haven't been as comfortable or absorbent as the Gorilla Grip one. Thicker and nicer memory foam mats would obviously also do the job but this design is deceivingly effective. If you like the design and want something light and price efficient give it a shot!

I've had 4 of these mats over the past 10+ years, and I like their plushness & their vibrant color that last, and the variety of sizes they come in. Until this one, their grip to the floor was the best. This most recent one lacks that trustworthy grip; it doesn't slide all over, but it does slip. I have yet to find a mat as good; however, so I'll stay with this one.

I had a similar rug for years that eventually just started to get musty. I replaced it with this and while I love the color and style, it is slightly thinner than my other chenille rug. It's also less absorbent. I know it's hard having teens who shower but this rug almost always feels like it has a sopping wet spot somewhere on it. With the other rug (but same sloppy teenagers), I didn't have this issue. Aside from that the rug is quite nice. No shedding, very comfortable to step onto, nice rubber backing (doesn't slide around) and fits in the area I need it to. I just wish it absorbed more water or dried more quickly. It did machine wash and dry up just fine for those wondering. If you don't have messy teenagers who get water everywhere in your bathroom, this could be a very nice rug for you!
