I bought this to use as an outdoor mat. It is placed right by the backdoor for both my dogs to wipe their paws on as they come in and so my older lab wouldn't slip coming in when it is wet out.. It is cute and made well; but, I think it is better as an indoor mat and for smaller dogs. When the lab comes in, he's 90 lbs. - a number of times the mat slips out under his paw. He's not running or jumping, just walking in. It doesn't do this with the other dog who is 80lbs. I don't know if it's a weight issue or the fact his paws are wider than hers, so more gripping/pushing (?). The other issue is when it rains, if it's more than a medium rain, the water pools on the mat and puddles above the lettering. So when the dogs go to come in, yes their paws get some of the dirt washed off instead of wiped off, but now they have wet feet in addition to the dirt being trailed in. I had to purchase a longer than normal indoor mat so they were able to get all four paws on a wiping surface before they walked away. It is a good mat for it's size; but, sadly it didn't work for me for the two primary reasons I purchased it. If I had smaller dogs and used it as the step in mat instead of the one on the outside, I think it would have worked much better. ... show more

We usually purchase Gorilla Grip mats and this one didn’t disappoint! Backing works great with LVP flooring and it straightens out flat fairly quickly as it arrives rolled. With being and inside door mat and winter don’t have to worry about slushy water going everywhere. Clean up of the mat is easy. The style and color of the mat also blend well with the flooring! Size is generous enough is can be placed in 2 positions behind the front door and used elsewhere in house. It doesn’t slide anywhere, stays put! Definitely purchase again! Five stars! ... show more

We like the look of the mat. Still, after 4-6 weeks, the rubber is still a bit curled and doesn't lay perfectly flat. There is no sun that hits this mat so maybe after some time the sun would have helped with that issue. We did leave in the sun for several days at first to help with the curling.
