This product is, for all intents and purposes, useless! Unless of course you are only ever going to restrict your recordings to 5 minute snippets and then wait another 25 plus minutes for it to cool down before you can record another 5 minutes. Mine overheats and shuts down at exactly 8 minutes and 37 seconds at room temperature. My advice and recommendation? Do not buy! Too pricy for a faulty product. Use your phone instead. ... show more

    • Useless without the remote
This is not the camera to record a 30minute YouTube video. BUT it is designed for something else. It is great for shorts and stories. You need the remote to record short clips so it doesn't overheat or drain the battery. Only after I got the remote I managed to get something out of it.

    • Overheats
Look at reviews for overheating. My GoPro last 15min before shutting down. GoPro sent a replacement that overheats and shuts down after 15 min. I asked GoPro if I could just pay the difference and get a product that works and they said no. I'm stuck with this now.

I don't know where to find the "card" (?) nor the charging cable. Instructions are too minuscule to read even with glasses. If I can get what I need to have this up and running I think I will like it.

    • None of the features matter if it just freezes/overheats for no reason intermittently
I didn't want to believe what I had read all too often. After trying this thing for a week and giving it plenty of chances I have found that it will randomly freeze/stop recording at random points. It will miss the footage that you needed it to capture for no good reason. Truly disappointing that GoPro is on their 11th generation and have such a shoddy quality product, I'd be laughing if I didn't lay out all this hard earned money. ... show more

The quality of the recordings are great, but who cares if it shuts off after 20m in an AC cooled room. Dont buy this one - Support suggested turning off features so it wont overheat... right the main reason I got it and Im supposed to disable that feature just so it wont overheat? DO NOT BUY THE HERO11 BLACK MINI! ... show more
