I got these chairs to sit on the roof of my apartment building. After reading a lot of reviews of dozens of different chairs, I decided the 500-lb weight capacity of these chairs was worth the extra cost. Also they are a bit wider than the standard anti-gravity chair, which makes them more comfortable. My mom and I tested them out and they are so comfortable, I could easily fall asleep in them. In fact they are more comfortable than my living room sofa or armchair! It's like lying in a hammock, and was very restful on my tricky lower back which gets tense and sore in a bad chair. The mesh is nice and cool in addition to being supportive. The only down side is that they are quite heavy, not really that portable, but from reading reviews of other chairs, the really lightweight ones tend to collapse easily. These are sturdy and built to last. They would be perfect for a backyard, but not ideal for toting up four flights of stairs to get to my roof, but once we get them up there, they are so comfortable that its worth it.

The chairs are pretty comfortable and are sturdy. I am 6'4" 400lbs and these easily hold me without feeling like it is going to collapse. We bought 2 of these chairs for camping. The one I opened when they arrived was good. The one I just opened since we are heading out camping was not sewn together on the strap of the pillow. The second chair was also missing the snap on side table. Pretty sure I ended up with someone elses return item. The chair itself seems to be in good shape though. Before I opened the 2nd box I would have given it 5 stars.

Does seem sturdy. The side cup holder just slides on and doesn't seem too reliable. I don't use it anyway. The biggest problem I have is getting the thing to recline. The "gravity" part seems to be "center of gravity". So, if you have a big butt and are short it is very difficult to get the thing to recline. I'm 5'3" and kind of have to hurl myself against the back to get it to tip enough so I can manhandle it the rest of the way. I'm guessing this wouldn't be a problem for taller people. It is large enough for a 325 lb person to sit in fairly comfortably but again, if you have a large butt you always feel like you're reclining even when you aren't. That's typical for almost all chairs. I ordered one item and received 2 chairs as stated in case that wasn't clear.

My Husband and I bought these for a beach vacation. The chairs are super comfortable and sturdy for larger people. They are easy to get up from and we were super glad we purchased them. Only complaint is they are a bit heavy to carry - nearly 20lbs. They didn't fit well on a beach cart. We purchased a strap for them so it would keep them closed and could be carried on your shoulder. These are nice chairs. Not perfect, but certainly decent. They accommodate larger people like me just fine and are comfortable. The reclining feature is a little odd, you really have to lean back hard to engage it. The feet have to be firmly on the ground (not on bare concrete, or any other surface that would allow sliding). Thankfully my plan was always to use them on my lawn/grass, so it worked out for me. Folding them back up after use has a learning curve as well (I've only ever done it by accident so far).... The headrest can be moved down for lumbar support, which is great for me. Overall good buy with a few caveats lol

Absolute JUNK! We ordered these in late April of this year (2024) and got them in May. So we've had them less than 3 months. They are already rusting and the biggest problem is they won't stay locked in place anymore. The locking mechanism is made from cheap plastic. Definitely NOT outdoor chairs and NOT heavy duty. Do NOT buy these they are junk!

The chair is very comfortable and adjusts to several different positions. The attachable headrest/lower backrest is very nice, but with time the strap material loosens up and it will not stay in place. The attachable side tray is okay but does not stay level. Still is a very good chair.
