Style: Cleansing Balm
This goop cleansing balm is OK but not great. First, there was no safety seal on the box or jar which left me concerned about using this product but I just crossed my fingers and went for it. This balm has a faint, pleasant scent. You apply it to dry skin and wipe off with the included cloth. I found that it removed most of my makeup pretty well but after using I was still left with some non-waterproof mascara on my lashes that I had to remove with micellar water. I definitely had to use cleanser on my face afterwards to feel like my skin was clean. This product is fine but I find that micellar water works better for removing makeup so I personally could never justify paying what this product costs.

I LOVE this scrub! I’ve been using it daily for almost a year and my skin looks incredible. I use it in the morning prior to putting my face oil, primer, and makeup. My makeup goes on smoothly and beautifully.

Style: Cleansing Balm
I've never used a face cleansing product like this. It's much like the texture of a soft lip balm that you rub all over your face. You then use water to make it into a creamy substance and finally rinse it off. It does seem to take off light makeup and dirt. My complaint about it is that it feels like there is residue left on the skin, making the skin feel like there is a wax or balm layer. Maybe this is intended, but i like to feel totally clean after washing. The residue is particularly bad if you don't use their face cloth to wipe the goop off, which is problematic because there is only one cloth and you probably want to wash it after use. Silicone face scrubbers and washing with your hands does NOT remove the balm effectively. You will need to sacrifice a towel each time you use this stuff.

Good: 1. None. Bad: 1. Gone bad before the best-before date of "12/2022"? Now a disgusting dark green slime! Overall, I'm surprised by this.
