This was meant to be an unlocked phone but when I got it and went in to transfer my sim to it I learned that it is still locked to Xfinity. I am unable to use this phone.

    • Works but unit is frustrating
I purchased this device because I wanted it for the camera, I am visually impaired and the pixels have a decent camera that way I can take pictures by myself. Upon setting the device up it told me to sign in with a work account so I clicked on factory reset I added my Google account and everything seemed to be working fine except for this notification at the top saying that the device would reset automatically and approximately 2 hours. I didn't think nothing much of it until I had transferred my T-Mobile SIM card and was on the phone when it out of nowhere begins to factory reset. Then I soon realized that it would do that every single time turns out the hardware ID is locked to an organization at AT&t. So far I've reached out to Google for help but nothing yet I've reached out to the email that was provided on the zero touch support page which is what this phone is managed to with still nothing yet. I'm unable to basically use the device as it's sole purpose is as a regular phone. I don't know if this was a defective device but I don't know how to go about retrieving my ESIM because I don't have another device to put it into. ... show more
