    • Great phone, better option than buying from cell phone companies
So far have been very happy with this. So tired of the cell phone companies' dishonest practices--like telling you you're getting a "deal" on a new phone but in order to get the "deal" you have to pay it off over several years (if you try to pay it off early you have to pay the original FULL price), so they lock you into a contract with them until the phone is paid off. Ridiculous. This phone was easy to setup--just switched the SIM card from the old phone to the new (Verizon customer, so this DID work with Verizon), turn on the new phone, and it will transfer all your apps, data, etc. from the old phone automatically. Very little effort involved! It is too bad they haven't learned how to make a smaller phone with better storage and battery life (and camera), this is definitely bigger than my old Pixel. But works great and with a nice case will be durable I think. ... show more

    • Might be hit or miss, mine wasn't unlockedm came with a non-factory ROM
While it came in physically good condition, it wasn't a truly unlocked phone. It came with a custom ROM which means it was a carrier specific phone. Returning it back. I wish they would actually test the actual ROM to see if it's factory or custom.

Product was really nice. Everything was easy to set up and the phone was well packaged. However, the phone did not with a charger or cord. I had to buy that separately. I thought it mentioned that it does. I did not get either. 😞

    • Got this for my mom. She loves it.
Super clear video when I talk to her. She did say that one of the caps fell off one of the lenses but I am not really quite sure what she means by that.

I had to upgrade from my Pixel 3a because my bank's app required me to have a phone with Android 14 or later. I purchased a refurbished unlocked Obsidian 128GB Pixel 9 from an Amazon seller named BidAllies for $430 on Cyber Monday (Dec 1, 2025). I picked one from the Excellent category (vs. Good or Renewed Premium). I think I hit the refurbished lottery, because the phone I received doesn't have a single mark on it! Not a scratch on the glass panels or on the metal border. Fantastic quality for a refurbished phone, though your mileage may vary. Setup was a snap. Phone was unlocked, as advertised.     • Phone didn't work "excellent condition purchase"
Bought in "Excellent" condition. Opened up the phone while plugged in and it spammed plugged in-not plugged in. Didn't even get 2 minutes into using the phone before initiating a return. The phone looks to be in good condition other than the fact the USB-C port does not work. Which happens to be extremely important. They must've been scammed on a trade-in and I am the next victim. (It came fully dead too, got it up to 5% then I couldn't deal with the chaos). Yes I plugged the same cord into my old phone and it charges perfectly. ... show more
