This was my 3rd used Pro 8 I bought- 1 on Plug and 1 on Ebay. The two others had bad batteries and a defective screen. This one is perfect. Very happy with the camera and battery. Works great and will be my regular phone for a good while. I don't know why others have had issues, phone was perfect.

I've bought several 'renewed' phones on Amazon and have always had a good experience. This phone is no exception. Other than a very tiny scratch on the glass, the rest of the phone was spotless. And it functions perfectly. It came with a USB C cable but no SIM card tool, which is ok because I have several. I had no problem putting my Google Fi SIM in and getting it online.     • Great phone and features, fairly weak battery life and videos are a hassle.

Seller was great with packaging and helpful! This is a review on the phone, not the seller. Coming from a Pixel 4 XL, there are a lot of huge upgrades to a Pixel 8 Pro, but sadly there are also some downgrades. Battery life on the 8 pro is a good amount shorter than a Pixel 4 XL. Just being idle the phone drains a LOT faster than a 4 XL, even with battery saver on. The durability and scratch resistance is about the same I think, i'm not too clumsy and always buy a day 1 screen protector and case, so nothing breaks. Phone was unlocked fully and was able to easily add my carrier on it day 1 and able to do it myself online. Fingerprint reader works just fine. Camera and video quality is great! Big issue I have when taking videos though is the auto focus. When something is too close to the camera, the auto focus keeps making the background clear and the front object blurry. Also when using video, I can't start recording instantly, I need to give the phone a minute to make what it's looking at crisp and clear. Overall, way better than my Pixel 4 XL, but lacks a good battery and video recording issues that make it a hassle. ... show more

Screen came with a dead spot. Communication with seller stopped. Had to replace the screen at my cost. Phone functions now as expected. 1 star for the additional cost to me and the ghosting from the seller.

Phone screen was flawless. Got the "premium" refurb google pixel pro8. No problems activating. A couple of scuffs on the edges of the camera box and frame but does not affect anything at all. Item shipped without accessories it said it included, contacted seller and had everything shipped and arrived before I even thought to check the conversation again. My first Pixel, a 5, crapped out on me after just over 2 years and the second one, a 7Pro, after about a year. Maybe I should quit getting refurbished. I'm not super techy, so I get annoyed when I have to get a new phone and learn new stuff, which is why I've stuck with the Pixels. I initially got the 5 for the camera, which is the most important feature for me. One thing I've noticed about this camera is that it takes awhile to focus. But not being techy, maybe it's a setting I need to change. One thing about going from the 5 to the 7Pro, and now the 8Pro, is that the larger size has caused pain in my thumb pad. I use the Libby app to read on the phone, and I'm still working out how to hold the phone to avoid the strain on my hand. The pain is impacting almost everything I do. Since these gadgets have become seemingly indispensable, I hope this lasts me awhile. If it doesn't, I'll probably be looking at different phones next time around. ... show more

Worked well while the screen was ok, then random dead spots near the bottom with a small line going through faintly, requested a replacement but never got sent out, delayed for 4 days in a row. Says they'll accept refund we'll see
