Perfect. No other way to describe it. I searched the phone thoroughly, looking for signs of wear. Screen: after two days I finally found a micro scratch in the lower right corner of the screen. The only way I found it was when affixing a screen protector, cleaning the screen I noticed it at a certain angle when the phone was off. Affixed the screen and the micro scratch is completely invisible regardless if the phone is on or off. To me that's as good as flawless. There were no scratches or dents on the rear facing camera, which surprised me given how far this protrudes on the Pixel 8 Pro Body: No dents, scratches, cracks, or damage of any kind. No objects obstructing or damage to any of the ports including microphone, USB-C, speakers. Buttons worked flawlessly Internal components: Screen free of any dead pixels, spots, etc. If there's any kind of screen bleed I haven't noticed it. I ran a battery gauge app for five days. Separately I used Android's system apps to measure the battery life. Everything stated the battery was in great condition. This was just as important to me as the screen; I plan to use this phone for the next three years at least so having a healthy battery was critical. On my phone and my tablets I always turn on Charge Optimization - battery charge limit set to 80% to prolong the life of the battery as much as possible. I'm not on my phone all day, my total screen time for any given day never exceeds 4 hours (usually less) but I have yet to use more than 40% of the battery per day. Phone arrived partially set up, the welcome screen for Android setup had been bypassed by someone and the phone was on the home screen. Of course I had no idea who partially set it up so for safety's sake I did a full factory reset. Always factory reset your devices when you get them if they haven't been reset already. Overall I'm extremely impressed. I loved my Pixel 5a and managed to get three years of use before a manufacturer's defect finally killed it. I also shudder at paying $1000 or more for a phone, obviously okay with buying last year's model after all of the updates/glitches have been worked out and the next shiny new thing has been released to drive down the price of the older model. Getting a one year old Pixel flagship phone for a fraction of the cost when new, this is absolutely worth it. Disclaimer: there were a number of things I didn't test nor will I do so. I don't play games on my phone, can't test the battery drain or the excess heat generated. This review covers how I use my phones. As long as I can use it to text, access the web, run my various apps, watch some media, video conference, and even upon rare occasion make phone calls (weird I know) I'm content. Update: The phone works fine installing a physical SIM card from any carrier. However the eSIM was locked by T-Mobile. I wouldn't expect the seller to know this and truthfully it took me a year to discover this as the Pixel 8 Pro does support dual SIMs. In such a situation calling the carrier is the only way to resolve the issue

Buy it if you like it. Very decent phone. Super fast start up. Performance is excellent. The camera and video zoom is outstanding too. Comes with stabilization which is a plus. Makes me regret not buying the newer models. I think I would gogle upgrade rather than Samsung which is what I came from. Storage is decent although I usually full all phone storage quickly. It's not too big like other phones with similar performance but the camera does feel a bit bulky at the back. Make sure to buy your phone with screen protector and case. Finger print works well, very good battery life and definitely worth the money

Brought phone in March. My WiFi and Bluetooth stopped working last week. Excellent phone, I got it for the pictures and it does a great job. However it's now a expensive paperweight. Without Bluetooth and WiFi the phone is close to useless. This is my 3rd Pixel. I had issues with the top right of my screen going black on my 2 other phones. I seriously doubt I'll get a 4th. I'm disappointed this phone is only 2 phones out of the newest. I figured I'd solve my problem that way.

I ordered this phone to replace my Google Pixel 9a. As one might ask, why go back a generation? While I loved what the 9a offered me during my time with it, I still wanted a bigger phone with at least equal specs. I can give up a few bells and whistles for a functional phone with a “Pro” feel. This phone, especially at a refurbished price, is a steal! The one I ordered from this seller was labeled as “Good” on Amazon. I feel it should have been labeled as "Acceptable" as I'll explain below. When I received the phone, however, I was a little disappointed. The screen wasn’t cracked, the color was Bay, and it came with a charger and SIM opener. But around the outer edges of the screen were sticky smudges of what I can only assume was glue or sealant from the screen being repaired. I was able to clean some of it off, so no harm done. Upon using the device, everything was pretty self-explanatory. The software updated, and I was able to transfer my information easily. All of the phone’s hardware was operational EXCEPT the fingerprint recognition. I tried multiple times and was met with a prompt saying that I needed to have it professionally repaired. This was one deciding factor in whether I was going to return the phone. Truthfully, I didn’t feel like going through the hassle. I was really excited about this device, and I can/will find other ways to unlock my phone faster, whether through another unlock method or my Pixel Watch. Lastly, as a note for anyone else, the phone initially charged unbearably slowly—1% every 8 minutes! That was another factor I considered when deciding whether to return it. I did some digging through the settings and turned off Battery Optimization, which returned the device to charging at a regular, reasonable rate. Overall, I love the device! It sucks that the fingerprint recognition doesn’t work, but the rest of the phone is functional enough that it wasn’t a dealbreaker for me.

I would like to speak with the person reading this review right now. one I would like to say" don't waste your (money) the battery life for this phone sucks! I was only getting 3 hours to 4 hours of screen time which is sad", the phone would freeze at random times which was not convenient at all. The phone also wasn't powerful enough to do heavy gaming. Google have they own chip set that they use to work this phone" but from my experience nothing is better than a Snapdragon Gen chip set! The only good thing came from this phone was the photos I will admit. it takes some good photos and videos because of the Google AI." So if you're wanting to take great pictures and awesome videos for content or social media it's a yes! If you looking for five more years of software update it's a yes! If you're looking for something easy on the pockets it's a yes! But my advice to you is. Do not use it for a main driver" if you looking to get the most out of what you paying for go for the Galaxy s23 plus and you will get the best bang for your buck" Don't say I didn't warn you!
