Condition: Despite being graded "good" condition, the actual phone looked better than I had hoped. It was a great deal price-wise. The screen is basically flawless and with day-to-day use plus a screen protector, I can't tell the difference. Changing Phones: My last phone was the Pixel 6 Pro, and it was massive. The Pixel 8 is the perfect size for me, its battery lasts longer, and the camera experience is largely the same as my Pixel 6 pro. Because of Google's long term support, UI experience is currently the same. Porting over from Pixel to Pixel was quick and smooth. Battery: Way better on the Pixel 8 vs. Pixel 6 pro. Smaller screen plus, I believe, a newer tensor chip set helps. Any heavy mobile game will of course drain it very quickly. I'm able to play Where Winds Meet and Warframe mobile comfortably, but I haven't tested from 100 perc. battery. Camera: I use my phone to take pics of my kids, so I really didn't need the telephoto lens on the 6 pro, as cool as it was. The quality seems the same to me, but the only difference I notice is the video stabilizer. It seems to be slightly less smooth than the 6 pro's, but that could be a setting I haven't changed, or just a difference in model tier. Still a great stabilizer. Great deal! I had some issues setting up my SIM card but they resolved themselves after a day or two. No idea whether that was an issue with the carrier or the phone. The thumbprint scanner only worked about 50% of the time in the beginning but it's definitely gotten better over time to the point that I almost never have issues with it anymore. No other issues that I've noticed over the last few months. I would buy from this seller again. ... show more

Great phone. Lousy setup. First, it was a pain to setup because it was a former Verizon phone, so it wouldn't take my eSIM from my carrier. The phone instructions during setup said to call Verizon, which I did, and wasted 2 hours of my life until Verizon finally told me to go back to the seller to get instructions. So I contacted Amazon support, and Amazon gave me instructions for making the former Verizon phone work with my eSIM. Second problem was that this Pixel 8 was one of the phones with screen hardware "vertical pink lines and static" problems. I looked it up and found out Google has an extended warranty (free of charge) to replace the screen, so I brought to one of the authorized repair shops and had it repaired in 1 hour. Arrived in perfect condition, not a single scratch. Only came with a short USBC-USBC cable and no power brick. Can't expect everything for that price though. Google has committed to 7 years of software updates for their pixel lineup. So 4 more years to go. Makes this a no brainer.

It literally just started acting up last night while on my center console. I was playing music through my Bluetooth and unplugged it from the charger when I got to the store and it just glitched. I've never dropped it and it has a case on it. Just started acting up. Now I can't even access anything. Considering I still have one more payment on it the value is not there.
