This deal was a loser. The warranty for renewed phones is 90 days only. For 10 months, I had no issues with this renewed Pixel 8 phone. Now a bright vertical line persistently runs along the screen from top to bottom. (Another reviewer reports the same thing, also with a photo.) Screen replacement is around $250. Spending more money up front for a new unit I would have had a 12 month warranty to cover this issue. ... show more

    • Be aware of data access on 5G with refurbished phones...
Arrived quickly, well packaged, good condition. Transferred old phone (Pixel 5A) data only to discover that it would not connect to data over 5G. Spent 3 hours with AT&T to diagnose until I was told that the phone needs to be replaced. Marked it for return. On a whim, I stopped by an AT&T store to checkout the new Pixel 9A and asked the tech person to take a look at my phone - 5 minutes later (after convincing me to change my old plan...) he showed me that the data access for the IMEI of this phone had been blocked for some reason. The phone is nice it has an amazing camera, responds fluidly, and never has a heating issue to me. The main problem is the terrible battery life, it also has a huge issue registering multi-touch for me and being that multi-touch is mainly for gaming you can see how this would affect me the most as I use my phone as mainly a entertainment device. Beyond the phone itself, I ordered a phone (renewed @ Good quality). Battery is nearly burnt out, has massive amounts of physical blemishes at 12" or more away.     • I just love Pixel phones
I bought this RENEWED pixel 8 after I dropped my Pixel 7 on asphalt and broke it. The price was significantly better than the new one's pricing. I am very happy with it and will continue to get updates on it until 2030 which is 6 years from now. I am glad to get the last series without AI so I can choose when to use it and when I don't want to. Pixels have many more choices to customize than most Android phones and I like their explanations because they help me to decide just how I want it. Many Android phones have many less choices and often there is no choice except to take or leave the options. ... show more

    • Serious overheating issues
Overheated and now has a pink stripe. Not a great phone. Always had a tendency to overheat (BTW Instagram not installed on my phone) and now it has a pink stripe down the screen after shutting down because of overheating. I think this is my last Pixel phone.
