  • Everything great, but be aware of e-sim troubles
Color: Obsidian Service provider: Unlocked Memory Storage Capacity: 128 GB Product grade: Renewed
Alright so I have had this phone since around the second week of December. Everything functions perfectly, no marks or scratches, the phone was in perfect condition and my battery is also very good and usually lasts the whole day and is in around 20 percent once I get home and I use my phone alot when at work and school so take that how you want to. However some problems did occur as when I tried to put a phone service on this phone it kept getting prompted to contact T-Mobile to set up e-sim and T-Mobile was not at all helpful and hanged up multiple times after putting me on hold for an hour. How ever I was able to work around this by scanning the QR code given to me by my phone provider instead to set up a e-sim. One last thing you might want to be informed of is that the camera on the back is very good but the front camera is good but you usually have to have ideal lighting as even in night vision when it seems to be a little dark where you are the camera is blurry. All that being said I recommend this phone to any one looking for a flagship level phone for a low price but be aware of the e-sim having to be worked around. ... show more

  • Re-Cell Customer Service is a Joke
Color: Obsidian Service provider: Unlocked Memory Storage Capacity: 128 GB Product grade: Renewed
If I could give less that a start, I would give one point on the star. 1/5 of a start for the service! 1. I ordered a Pixel 8A but received a Samsung S25+ instead. Not a good look all around. Not a problem if he was out of Pixels and substituted a Samsung instead. But there was no explanation as to why the switch was initiated. 2. When I called the phone number, I got voice mail even after trying multiple times. 3. Initiated an email, and provided the order (invoice) number provided on the packing slip. Received a message asking for the exact information I had provided. 4. Decided to activate the Samsung because I need a phone for work and found out that Re-Cell never released the IMEI number, so I have no working phone. 5. Notified Re-Cell again and was instructed to either send the phone back to him or start the return process with Amazon. Welp, you cannot return a Samsung S25+ to Amazon when their records show a Pixel 8A was shipped. I had to send the phone back to Re-Cell and hope that a replacement would be sent. 6. Received an email from Re-Cell stating that they do not have an 8A to send so I would receive a credit back to my account for the amount paid. This all played out over the course of a week. I was left with an account locked by my carrier because I tried too many times to load the eSIM. This could have been easily addressed if Re-Cell was up front about the mis-shipped phone, the fact that they would not release the IMEI for the Samsung because they wanted it back. BOOOOO!!! and I don't mean Happy Halloween. ... show more

  • Perfectly working device in excellent condition
Color: Obsidian Service provider: Unlocked Memory Storage Capacity: 128 GB Product grade: Renewed
Item as described - excellent condition, fully unlocked, and upgraded and activated without issue. The battery was at 98% of capacity as well. Appearance is excellent - screen was unmarked, and only a few tiny blemishes on the top back of the case. Cellular and WiFi connectivity were fine. Shipped via Amazon and received in two days. Definitely would purchase from this seller again. ... show more

  • Great Quality refurbished phone, Pixel 8 is a great balance of specs
Color: Obsidian Service provider: Unlocked Memory Storage Capacity: 256 GB Product grade: Renewed
Condition: Despite being graded "good" condition, the actual phone looked better than I had hoped. It was a great deal price-wise. The screen is basically flawless and with day-to-day use plus a screen protector, I can't tell the difference. Changing Phones: My last phone was the Pixel 6 Pro, and it was massive. The Pixel 8 is the perfect size for me, its battery lasts longer, and the camera experience is largely the same as my Pixel 6 pro. Because of Google's long term support, UI experience is currently the same. Porting over from Pixel to Pixel was quick and smooth. Battery: Way better on the Pixel 8 vs. Pixel 6 pro. Smaller screen plus, I believe, a newer tensor chip set helps. Any heavy mobile game will of course drain it very quickly. I'm able to play Where Winds Meet and Warframe mobile comfortably, but I haven't tested from 100 perc. battery. Camera: I use my phone to take pics of my kids, so I really didn't need the telephoto lens on the 6 pro, as cool as it was. The quality seems the same to me, but the only difference I notice is the video stabilizer. It seems to be slightly less smooth than the 6 pro's, but that could be a setting I haven't changed, or just a difference in model tier. Still a great stabilizer. Vendor: The phone was delivered way sooner than the projected date, in great condition. I would recommend this vendor. ... show more

  • Meh condition
Color: Hazel Service provider: Unlocked Memory Storage Capacity: 128 GB Product grade: Renewed
Phone for the most part was in good enough shape. Glass is good, back was good but lots of wear and tear from dirt getting behind the previous owner's case. USB C port had a boatload of wear around it from the USB C plug missing the mark 1000's of times. Phone was properly unlocked and worked with USMobile. No real complaints, just seems the phone was well used in it's prior life. ... show more

  • Has it's pros and cons
Color: Obsidian Service provider: Unlocked Memory Storage Capacity: 128 GB Product grade: Renewed
I purchased this phone because I wanted to try out GrapheneOS. The phone works, and I've decided I really like GrapheneOS. So over all, it has served it's purpose. My biggest complaint is that it overheats during zoom meetings. I don't know why it does this, but it makes it difficult to be on a zoom call for more than 10 minutes even with the case removed and the charging cord unplugged. My next complaint is that the usbc port is starting to have connection issue and it's been less than a year. That's probably my fault because it seems to happen to all my phones regardless of brand. My last complaint is that it doesn't have an sd card slot. The fastest most straightforward way to transfer gigabytes of storage from one phone to another is to swap the sd card, but that's not an option with this phone. I know you can put an sd card in a usb stick and plug it into the usbc port, but that seems to have slower transfer speed and be vulnerable to being bumped or unplugged in the middle of a transfer. Things I like about this phone include: -Good battery life (GraphenOS helps with that by limiting bloat wear and data collection from running in the background) -The fingerprint sensors makes login quick and easy -It has options for both physical sim and e-sims People also say that pixel phones have good cameras. I'm not enough of a photographer to really know the difference, but I haven't had any issues with the camera. ... show more

  • Exactly like new. Very pleased with this phone
Color: Obsidian Service provider: Unlocked Memory Storage Capacity: 128 GB Product grade: Renewed
I bought this phone as a replacement for my Dad. He wanted a smaller screen, which can be hard to find with modern phones. This Pixel 8 works well. Set up was breeze, which is normal for Android when switching phones. The quality of the phone is flawless even though it comes in a plain brown box. Zero scratches or flaws of any kind. It comes with a Type C to Type C charging cable, but no charging block, which is fine. The battery needed to be charged, as it was at near zero power, but the battery life has been great so far. This is a fast phone with good on-screen color and richness. Very happy with this purchase and no issues so far. ... show more

  • Everything works sometimes
Color: Mint Service provider: Unlocked Memory Storage Capacity: 128 GB Product grade: Renewed
I bought this phone bc i needed a quick replacement after my phone died. And for that purpose it is working ok. However if you are looking to upgrade i do not recommend. Im sure every refurb is different but my apps are constantly crashing, the screen will glitch out, it randomly shuts down, the bluetooth will disconnect and reconnect. ... show more
