This phone is solid. I was a little skeptical at first about if the bootloader was really gonna be able to be unlocked or not after reading negative reviews from customers who used a different vendor when searching for this phone. This phone came exactly as described and did not disappoint. I was able to unlock the bootloader and I have no doubts if I wanted to flash any custom ROM's or a GSI image If I felt the need to. I did a quick glance over and am happy to report there are no dead pixels on the screen, no battery bulge, the sound works, the charging port isnt worn out, and all the biometrics work as they should. If anything is to change I will update my review accordingly. This is a solid daily driver that will continue to have android support for the next few years. Phone arrived quickly and in perfect condition, packed nicely in a generic white box with a small zip top bag with a charger, cord and SIM key. the phone needed charging. It went into a reboot loop until enough charge was in the battery. It came with the original Android 14 OS. After initial setup I updated to Android 16 and installed the few apps I use. This is my 3rd Pixel phone. (3a, 6a and now 7a) I find the pixel the best of the Android phones for obvious reasons. At $200 the value of the 7a as a "cheap" smart cannot be overstated. It is probably THE best phone you can get at this price point. With the recent announcement that Pixel 6a and up will get 5 years of OS and security updates, the support on these make them a excellent buy. I don't write many reviews but I was so disappointed in this phone. It received great reviews, but it also said that with the phone you get, the phone the charging cord and the USB charger. Well first off, the phone fells like you have a cement brick in your hand and my hands are very small. Second is that the phone is white, cord is white but they sent me a BLACK MOTOROLA CHARGER. AH NO. That to me is getting seconds and it doesn't go with the phone. I didn't even put the phone on to see what it did Very Uncomfortable. Took it out of the box and yeah a pretty phone if you like a heavy phone. I am sending it back, not what I wanted in a phone and the fact that it came with different parts. ... show more
