  • Excellent phone in like New condition
Size: 128GB Color: Obsidian Service provider: Unlocked Product grade: Renewed
I'm very pleased with the actual phone and the condition of it. Pixel has fantastic battery life, snappy responsiveness, and does everything I need it to do. It takes excellent photos, can play some games very well, and has a lot of neat Google features. My only complaint comes in the company fulfilling the order. This is the third renewed item I've purchased, and each time they promise delivery in 2 days before ordering, and then end up taking much more time because they use FedEx instead of fulfillment by Amazon. I don't mind the weight, but I really dislike that they give you one time frame and then on the day it's supposed to be delivered. Change the date. Date. Some of us stay home from work to receive these expensive items so they aren't sitting on our front porch all day, so being deceptive about the delivery time in the item description and initial order is a problem. Buyer be aware: The listed delivery time is likely not factual in the case of these Renewed items. Plan for a 4 or 5 day delivery window. That said, the item received was of highest quality with no cosmetic issues and a healthy battery. ... show more

  • Nice, affordable phone
Size: 128GB Color: Lemongrass Service provider: Unlocked Product grade: Renewed
Works as expected. Arrived in great condition and looks brand new. Easy set up. Battery isn't the greatest, but lasts me the day. Camera isn't as good as Samsung Galaxy s24, but sufficient or me.

  • DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!
Size: 128GB Color: Obsidian Service provider: Unlocked Product grade: Renewed
The phone was great while I used it. Everything about it was fantastic and I loved using it. That was until the battery life dropped insanely quick. I started the refund process once I noticed it dying exceedingly fast, and sent it back. This seller decided to hold over half of my refund hostage as a "restocking fee" and "shipping costs" after I sent it back. They then claimed they held this money because I "damaged the phone", but told me I could send pictures of the phone if I thought I didn't damage it. You know, the phone that I sent back and they already had in their possession. They then went dark and have no responded since. I had the phone in a case the whole time I owned it,, it was never dropped, and it had a screen protector on it the whole time because it was sent with one on. I have been in contact with Amazon for over a month now trying to get my money back from this obvious scam. The phone was great, until it wasn't. This seller, however, has been awful to work with since. I cannot recommend ANYONE buy from this seller, as you may not get your money back if you are not happy with what you receive. ... show more

  • Locked or Unlocked, that is the question...
Size: 128GB Color: Obsidian Service provider: Unlocked Product grade: Renewed
I have purchased several phones from Amazon before this, each allegedly unlocked. But what are we asking when we ask that question? If a phone is stolen, it can be locked from being reactivated. A phone can be locked because the person you purchased it from didn't share their passcode to "unlock" the phone to make calls. Then there is Carrier Unlocked, which usually means it can be used with any provider's (like AT&T, Verizon, TMobile, etc.) system. There may be other things that unlocked may refer to that I am frankly ignorant about. Any time I've purchased a phone that was supposed to be unlocked, and it would not activate, the seller always insisted it was unlocked. Finally, with this Pixel 7, I seem to have a phone which is carrier unlocked, as well as not having a user lock. No warnings about using a specific network's SIM card were presented on activation. In fact, the phone appeared completely new other than generic packaging. It functions well, clean,no scratches anywhere on the exterior, initial setup was as if it was an unused phone. The screen has no "burn in" patterns and is bright and responds quickly to touch. Battery appears to be like new as well. I purchased this phone after using iPhones for about 8 years. I tired of Apple's insisting I buy more cloud space without an effective way to remove my photos (and KEEP them), the only choices being to delete them or subscribe for more cloud space. Apple doesn't have to do it that way, but they want you to buy cloud space. A dollar a month doesn't seem like much, but multiply that by 230million users! The cloud is probably the most environmentally damaging way to hang onto old digital photos ever invented. Also, if at some point the cloud loses your photos, you have little recourse. That is also the case if they change the rules about access to YOUR DATA. Research it. I you think you want a new phone, a good place to start your research is gsmarena. I like the Pixel series because there are custom ROMS, operating systems, that can be loaded in place of Android. Remember how I said I switched from Apple to Android? Well my previous Android phone wasn't to my liking, which is why I switched to iPhones to start with...and because MS messed up the WONDERFUL Windows Phone 8.1, I felt there were no other choices. I digress...in case I don't like the latest offering from Android I wanted options, like LineageOS and GrapheneOS. So far I am experimenting with the stock Android until I know it isn't merely learning curve that frustrates me.By the way, Google has their own dirty cloud, as does MS. I avoid them all. My final word of advice is to be prepared to return the phone, any phone. You might have just a bad example, or maybe it wasn't properly listed, or renewed, or unlocked. Mistakes happen. Or maybe the phone just isn't right for you. I didn't need to contact this seller for anything, I am happy with the purchase ! The seller was "thegadgetdeals". ... show more

  • Great hardware, ROM unlock is a lottery
Size: 128GB Color: Obsidian Service provider: Unlocked Product grade: Renewed
If you're here for a cheap device to play with GrapheneOS or other custom ROMs, prepare to be disappointed. Carrier unlocked only means you can plug in any SIM because the device was already paid off. Custom ROMs need OEM unlock. This happened at the factory. If the device wasn't born unlocked, it can never be unlocked. The only way to tell is to try it or look up the IMEI. Since most consumers don't care, sellers don't check. Verizon, AT&T, Google "unlocked" phones all go in the same bin. That's why you see a total lottery in other reviews. I guess the only way to be sure is to get a new phone from Google store. But the phone itself is in pretty much mint condition even though I picked the cheapest option. Great deal for those who aren't engineers looking for a test device. ... show more

Size: 128GB Color: Obsidian Service provider: Unlocked Product grade: Renewed
Had it for couple days, so far it's great, good deal for me. If the product description wouldn't say Renewed, I would not know that this isn't a brand new phone. Not a single scratch screen or back, everything works. Battery health 86% as measured by AccuBattery app. Screen works and bright, touch works, fingerprint works, speakers work, Bluetooth works, unlocked (tried T-Mobile and foreign SIM), GPS works, NFC works, charging works, USB file transfer and USB headset work, back and front cameras work, applications work smooth, no lag, calling and SMS works, 5G data and WiFi work.
