I purchased this phone from Techrific Deals. As the description says, it claims to be Factory Unlocked. When I went to install a eSIM from a different carrier, it was locked to Verizon. I feel like I got scammed. For anyone wanting to big this device hoping for OEM unlocking, it might be locked and locked by Verizon. I would trust the reviews and steer clear of this item. UPDATE: Recieved a replacent device from the same seller. It was once again carrier-locked to Verizon. I don't get why this seller can keep selling Verizon versions of these phones and just completley lie about the device they are selling. Be warned, this was my experience buying this device. Great phone BUT it's really top heavy and I couldn't handle it. It was always the flipping out of my weak hands. Also activated my tendinitis. I actually thought for about a month I had arthritis until I realized it was the heaviness of this phone. My husband and son love it though.

First, the refurbished phone was awesome. No issues on that front. However, after 4 hours of trying to install an eSIM, including two calls to Google, I discovered that the phone was still in a holding period of 60 days. So while it wasn’t exactly locked to a carried it was a brick. Google told be twice that the phone wasn’t locked. On my original boot up I noticed the name of the former carrier as an eSIM which was my only saving grace. After many failed attempts to install a new eSIM I called the former carrier and was able to ID the phone as one of theirs and found out it was in a waiting period. I might have received that one lame duck phone, but if you purchase please be aware of this potential issue. ... show more

Product not as advertised. The listing for the device specifically said it was not compatible with Verizon, so I got an AT&T Sim card while waiting to receive my phone. The phone I received was a Verizon phone and is not compatible with AT&T. I wasted hours on the phone with AT&T and was not able to get the phone to work. ... show more
