This is a slim and comfortable phone cover that will prevent scratches to the device. That's about it. You won't find a truly armored full case like an old OtterBox for Pixel 6 phones due to the rounded edges of the screen. Anything that rises above the screen and locks onto the phone will severely interfere with full use of the phone. A fully armored case with armored glass cover, should it exist, will severely interfere with the phone AND lead to overheating. Fortunately, the Pixel phone will shut down when it overheats. The case was great initially, and is still functionally protecting my phone. I went with the Google case to secure quality and design for protection. But after a few months it has discolored over time. A vague cloud like hand ring of Brown and blue at the top from repeated jeans use (not new jeans).. the staining doesn't come off with IPA or Acetone. The case also allows debris in through the sides which then gather and can be seen through the clear back, and has scratched the inside of the case. Gives the phone a cheap and dirty look, and also scratched my clean metal phone side walls. ... show more

This worked for about 4 months until the skinny sections around the camera cracked. The case also discolors very easily, and I cant find anything that cleans it.

It's a good case and probably one of the best thin plastic ones you find get for the Pixel 6/6 Pro. Fit is perfect. Could be grippier but better than without a case. However, I got the sage one and after about a month of use it picked up a significant amount of discoloration where it's looking a bit dark and scuffed up, especially along the edge. Though that eventually happens to all similar cases over time. So considering the higher price, I'd probably recommend the black one as the scruffs/discoloration won't be as obvious if you plan to rock this long term. ... show more
