I really had high hopes for this phone. In deciding to upgrade my Moto G5 Plus, I was leaning toward the new G7 model, then I read how the Pixel 3 XL had a better (supposedly the best) camera. As a photography enthusiast, this was a factor in my buying decision. The Pixel 3 XL is less than an inch taller than my old G6 and not any wider. In taking some initial photos on the Pixel 3 XL, they weren’t any better than those taken by my Moto G6. In fact, some outdoor shots I took with the Pixel 3 XL were oddly dark and required auto adjustment. The Night Sight feature for low light photos isn’t color accurate and adds an off-color tinge to the pictures. I’ll give it more time to grow on me, but I’m not too optimistic about the camera at this point. The phone has some merits, but the balance of pros vs. cons is really 50/50. In my opinion, this phone is not worth the $500+ premium over the Moto G or Z series. Do your research…. there are certainly better choices out there depending on your needs. I bought this one to replace my broken pixel 2 and i wish i didn't. i wish i replaced it with another pixel 2. performance wise there is not difference, functionality is almost same. actually this one has no notification led which for me it's very important. this one sometimes not is responding or responding slow. sometimes it apps get frozen!! ... show more

i bought this to replace my pixel i bought in 2017 because its reached the end of its cycle however when i took it into the sprint store thinking this phone would be unlocked the guys told me that the imei was different on the box and on the phone + that it would not be able to be used on sprint's services. NOT sure if this is a CDMA unlocked phone but it sure as heck is not what i was looking forward to. I AM quite dissappointed as i was expecting a phone i could use immediately this is definitely a seller issue. ... show more

I've been in dire need of a new phone and my old one was just giving up. I knew I wanted a phone with lots of storage, great battery life and excellent camera. I looked into getting the Google Pixel 3 XL and I was not disappointed. The screen is great! Even though everybody talks about the notch on top, to me it's not a bother at all. The camera is PERFECT! It takes clear pictures and the video is just as great! The battery is pretty good as well if you're not on it 24/7. I purchased this smartphone brand new and it was not mistake. Worth it. The phone itself is great. Battery drains a little quicker than I'd like, but works very well otherwise. The reason I'm giving such a bad review is because the phone came locked. FRP locked. When I called amazon they offered no help. Asked if I had restarted it... They told me to return it. I had to go on youtube to figure out how to unlock it. The phone was clearly damaged when I received it. It was advertised as being like new, with little to no physical defects. This was absolutely not the case, the speaker had been smashed in, and the phone had clearly experienced some sort of water damage that caused the speaker to not work. This phone is soo cool... 1year or 2 old flagship phones are still the best to get if u can be patient.. U get a very good processor and flagship features for lower price after the price has dropped overtime.. I'm enjoying this phone.. The notch doesn't bother me much and the Google integration and optimizations is so cool.. Very neat andriod experience . Wish it had more ram and storage options ... show more

Actual Pixel for half of price current generation - not sure about bitcoin mining, but form user standpoint all phones within last 10 have absolutely no advantages above previous gen. Limiting factor always network availability.
