This item is nice but it is overpriced. I bought a 49cc mini moto 2 stroke engine for my go kart for $89. This item is $32. Too expensive. The pull start broke on my go kart after 2 years of use. I tried buying the pull start separately but they were all too small. I had to purchase this entire item in hopes of having it work. It did fit my application thankfully. The 49cc mini moto has high compression so it is easy to break the pull start, the rope or even damage the recoil spring. I would give this part 5 stars if it wasn’t so overpriced. Here are some tips to help you make your pull start last: Make certain all bolts are tight that hold pull start on. Don’t jerk or pull aggressively on the pull start when starting engine. Pull the rope a little until you feel it engage the flywheel, then pull smoothly to start engine. Last but not least—-try to get engine to start as quickly as possible. I do this by spraying starting fluid in the carburetor of my go kart. 2 pulls and it fires right up. Good luck with your mini bike or go kart. ... show more

Nice part i baught a little pit bike for cheap because the pullstart was broken ordered this part which was very easy and straight forward to install IMPORTANT: the new flywheel install might require adjusting the ignition coil mine was slight touching so i did slight adjustment do your research for gap procedures. ... show more

So far so good! I bought This for my daughter's coolster 49cc dirt bike. It fits great and works well. We will really test this out tomorrow! Looking forward to the ride!
