  • Good at everything so far.
This is my third set of these. I have always disliked Goodyear tires after my Jeep got stuck in wet grass with Wranglers once. Apparently, they got their act together in the 16 years since then. I got the first set of Duratracs because I wanted an aggressive looking AT for a mixture of everything from mud to wet leaves to snow- with the added fun of a LOT of highway miles. These tires deliver in every situation. Someone can always name a tire that would be better at one situation or another, but there isn't another tire that will do EVERYTHING as well as these do. Sure, it's not going to perform like the best MT in mud or like a highway tire on the street... but in the real world it's a pain to have multiple sets of tires for different conditions. Snow and ice- they really do well, but when it's a BIG snow or freezing rain I use RUD chains with them. I'm often the only one able to get anywhere in those situations. Tread life is excellent. One of my previous sets is now on a friend's Land Rover and with 20K or so miles on them, they have a surprising amount of tread left. They seem to last longer than any AT tire I've had with the possible exception of the BFG AT/KO- which is inferior in every other way. ... show more

  • Good not great
These tires are excellent in mud and on dirt roads, but suck in shallow snow on a pickup. Mine are 265/75r16 and after 20,000+ miles they have gotten louder than when they were new, but show little wear. I think they’ll go 60,000 miles if not more. I rotate my tires every 5,000 miles and they wear perfectly even. As for the sound, theyre not too loud and i dont really mind the noise but you can definitely hear them. My tires are 2” taller than stock and i didnt notice a difference in MPG compared to street tires on my tacoma ... show more

  • Great, slightly noisy
I love the tires, I love the look and I'm very happy with them. However, they're not as quiet as my previous Bridgestone Revo 2's. I wanted an all-terrain passenger tires because these do not make so much noise. Revos win in that respect. However, this tire looks more aggressive and appealing on my truck. The noise is minimal but as a prior tire specialist manager, it bothers me. ... show more

  • Not made in USA anymore
This is the second set I have purchased. The first set was made in USA, this set is made in Mexico. Price is the same. Wish they still were made here

  • Great on a SUV, too light for a truck
I chose these because they are siped for snow and have large lugs for mud. I have gotten a lot of use out of them on my work truck, four years now and still ok. The tread is thick enough I haven't had mesquite punctures which are a big problem around here. Still, the side walls are thin. I ordered a second set for my Xterra SUV and I think they are better suited for that purpose. ... show more

  • no one cared if you get a bad tire .
i had the tires road force balanced and as i feared i got 1 bum tire , don't really want to raise a stink about it but for 820$ its not too much to ask for a good set of tires , i am including a screenshot of the tire balance . at first it was 49 lbs off , we rotated it 180 degrees and got it down to 39 lbs out , still unacceptable in my book . don't know what to do about it . had talked to someone at amazon who sid they would get to the right person to handle this , never happened , i ordered 1 more tire to replace the humpty dumpty tire , hope its a good tire , i will post the result . ... show more

  • Great tires for suburban
Bought this type of tire for my 01 Chevy suburban 1500 and those tires lasted almost 6 years. I bought these and they are equally as great! Smooth ride for me at least and no issues taking them to a shop to mount and balance. Will very likely buy these tires off here again another 6yrs from now!
