Replace your tensioner and water pump belt as long as you are doing this. This seems to be a perfect replacement for my factory belt I go 90k miles from, naturally YMMV. Before attempting this, check out the videos out there on using a zip tie to aid in the installation of this belt and your water pump belt. A friend with Skinny arms is also helpful. You will want a long fan belt wrench to put this on a Mazda. My car is much quieter with this new belt, although I think the tensioner was the primary culprit. My top bushing was gone, so it made sense to replace both at the same time. The water belt pump was an obvious choice as well, so I wouldn’t have to tear the car down twice. ... show more

    • Good replacement belt
This was a direct replacement belt for the 6-rib serpentine belt in my 2017 Mazda 3 with 2.0 engine. Install was straight forward but only needed a bit of patience figuring out how to get enough leverage using monkey wrenches from the top of the engine bay to compress the tensioner. Took me 1 hour but would take someone 15 mins tops if they have done it before. ... show more
