Super cute book The story had nice rhymes and covered many different angles of camping. It wasn't as short and simple as the goodnight Moon book. and that isn't a bad thing I was actually glad there was more of a story to it. The seniors, the scout groups, the getaways. I read it to four and five-year-olds and they enjoyed it. I would recommend it🙂 ... show more

This book was fun! We enjoyed the detailed illustrations. There's a lot happening at this campground! My 4year old granddaughter stayed interested until the end. The rhyming lines were not labored, as I find in some children 's books. AND older adults were featured.

We are RVers and love this book for our grandbabies. It makes them want to go outside and explore and enjoy this wonderful thing called "nature". Exercise and fresh air and the amazing animals, sparkling waterways, and diverse plant life is something they should not miss! This is a great book to inspire children to want to see, smell, touch, hear and yes even taste the great outdoors. I ordered 4 copies of this cute book to give as Christmas gifts to my friends' kids; however, when my family saw the book this past weekend they loved it so much I ended up giving them all of the copies I had. So, I will definitely be purchasing more copies now! This book's fun rhyming text and colorful illustrations do a wonderful job of capturing the varied experiences, adventures, and beauty of camping. My family, kids and adults alike, love this book and can't wait to play Campsite Bingo (found at the end of the book) on our next camping trip.
