I like the collapsible handle though I don't know that I'll ever need to collapse it. The quality is just good enough I think and I figured out a good way to store it on the back of my vest. I used a different magnet connector that I had that I think is a little stronger than the one that came with it but the one that came with it would probably have been good enough. This fish net works great - line does not get tangled it and and fish is secured once in the net. Comes with equipment to attach to your vest. Magnet is strong enough to hold the net while walking, etc but it is easy to take off. It comes with an attachment that acts as a security line if it is off the magnet it stays attached to your vest if is dropped which is nice, especially when trying to put a fish on a stringer. ... show more

I was very pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of this net. The handle is very solid and easily folds up out of the way which is great for storage. Locks up solidly with no movement when in the open position. The grip is a thick material with a nice feel to it and the net material is exactly what I was looking for. It's clear so the fish can't see it as easily as you go to net them and it doesn't harm them with it's soft feel. I haven't had any hooks don't get caught in the netting material and it's heavy enough to immediately sink beneath a fish when placed in the water while netting. Only thing I'd improve to make it absolutely perfect is make the net about 9" deeper and have handle telescope out 1' or so for when you need extra reach. ... show more

Feels well made and magnet is strong. However a big design improvement would be the ability to also lock in the folded position with a quick release button. Especially when clipped and secured to waders for walking out of water to not drag on ground and while in river to keep above water.
