This is SO cool! I bought it for my 17yo son and it is really nice, works great, and it’s portable and easy to pack between rooms or houses. It’s a very nice addition to a workout routine and easy to store when not in use.

*Update May 2023* after sending 2 emails, Customer service finally got back to me after about 2 weeks and handled the issue of missing parts. They went above and beyond my expectations by, instead of just sending the missing part, they sent me an entire new set up. Wasn't expecting that. Now I have a back up if anything breaks. If you do have any issues with this product, contact customer support and just be patient. They will eventually get back to you and should take care of what ever issue you have. First let me start with why I gave this a 2 star review. I received my package in a damaged box with parts hanging out of it and one of the resistance bands is missing. Gonex has yet to respond to my email concerning this. When/If I ever hear back from them to send me a replacement, I will update this review to 5 stars. Now to my review of the product at least what I am able to use. So far seems to be a decent set up for exercises. The push up handles however are very difficult to place and remove from the holes in the board. They have a very snug fit which make it hard to remove without breaking the board or the handle itself. Hopefully they will loosen up over time. Everything else works as designed. Can't comment on the resistance bands until I get a replacement. The one I do have looks to be sturdy and should hopefully last and not break causing an injury. Time will tell. ... show more

I had an injury to my hip and after physical therapy I was hesitant to go full force at the gym. This is a nice sort of stepping stone to get strength back before heading to the gym. The only thing I don't like is that you have to stand in the middle of the base and your bodyweight is what keeps the board to the ground. But if you have the bands attached to the outermost clip it pulls the edges off the ground. It makes me think over time it might weaken the plastic and break during use. ... show more

Why am I shocked? Because for the price it shouldn't be as good as it is. For what comes up to 2-4 months of a gym membership at most places, you can set up a home "gym" that can effectively give you a full work out. I think the base plate needs to be beefed up a bit, but all in all the bands are great, the ab wheel set up is fantastic, and the overall quality is unreal for the price. ... show more

I had wanted this type of equipment for versatility and storage convenience. I really like the workout booklet. There are a lot of different ways to use the bands with the training base. I feel it is very secure with the carabiner attached. I will say, being able to attach the bands in the exact position as noted to do an exercise did call for some repositioning to get the resistance needed to do several of the exercises. I am 5'1" and the model in the pictures was clearly taller (as they usually are), so I either had to run the carabiner through one or two extra buckles on the base to be able to get the resistance needed. It would be nice if there was an option to purchase some different lengths other than the two that came with the system. The black bands were too short for me to comfortably use them for the seated "good morning" exercise and the orange ones were too long. Also, to do the chair exercises, you need to find a seat with a smaller footprint to fit on the base. I used a step stool which "just" straddled the base so it would not pull up. As with all new things, it definitely takes a bit of time to learn the setups for the exercises and to do them. Don't expect to have only 30-min to get through 3 or more positions right out of the "bag". I have found at least 3 or 4 exercises I like and the setup is a bit faster. The bands are a bit uncomfortable on the shoulders doing the ab crunches and the "wood chopper". It would be nice if they included the foam for the bands where they cross your body. Overall, I am very happy with the gym. I love that it is portable and the bands offer good resistance. The unit feels very sturdy. ... show more

i saw a few product reviews that raised my interest in this particular system and upon initial receipt i really enjoyed it. two weeks in i was feeling a nice burn from the various muscle groupings in a way i hadn't felt doing a home workout in a while. however, in the second week the board cracked and the post landmine sleeve was somehow able to twist in the apparatus and then bend in a way that makes it unusable. i can still use the board but i do have to balance my weight on it a certain way to keep it from breaking any further. i didn't see a way to contact the seller but i do hope they reach out to me. would love to test out a replacement board. if there were some sturdier parts this system would definitely earn a higher rating. ... show more
