The media could not be loaded. This umbrella is as huge as I wanted it to be! My normal sized umbrella didn’t cover myself sufficiently whether it was when I use it to block the sun when I go walking or when it rains. It was always those handful of inches that were missing. Man oh man this 68” is just the right size for me. I can’t believe I haven’t found one like this up until now. In the video I posted you can see how the slits in the umbrella allow the passage of air,not water, to go through so when it is windy the umbrella doesn’t become a parachute and drags me. The handle is a soft rubber which is comfortable to hold. I almost forgot the best feature is actually one that is lacking something than including it. What I’m hinting to is the annoying piece of metal most umbrellas have that needs to be pushed in to close it. Omg the amount of times I’ve pinched my finger trying to close those locks. Oh man, thank G-d this umbrella doesn’t have that stupid metal lock and it closes based on pressure by pushing down. Also, there is a nice solid click to know when it has locked in place for storage. The button to open the umbrella is equally enjoyable to press. Lastly, the umbrella is relatively lightweight for the size and amount of material that it is constructed out of. The media could not be loaded. We used to have a large umbrella similar to this one in size but the key difference was that it didn't have double canopy or the automatic open feature. The automatic open feature is very convenient but it's not essential. However, the double canopy does make a huge difference between my old umbrella flipped open the other side with a big gust of wind and few frames bent and broke. This was a great replacement because it has double canopy design, which helps the wind escape without flip opening. WHAT I LIKE: [+] Very large surface area. You won't get wet with this umbrella. [+] Double canopy design - the most important feature [+] Automatic one touch open feature - convenienet [+] Comes with umbrella sleeve for storage and easy carrying strap [+] The quality of the material and shaft feels strong and solid. WHAT I DON'T LIKE: [-] I wish the umbrella sleeve's end was closed so that water doesn't drip out when wet umbrella is put inside the sleeve but this is not a deal breaker since umbrellas usually don't come with a sleeve. BOTTOM LINE: 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this umbrella to anyone who needs ample coverage from rain to avoid getting wet. The double canopy design will make sure it stays open the way it needs to be even against strong wind. Great buy! I LOVE this umbrella. I really didn't expect it to be such high quality (sorry Amazon, but you just never know when you're ordering online). I got the 68" one in silver (the sun proof one). I feel COMPLETELY protected while out in the punishing California sun. (I also carry it into stores, to keep people 6 feet AWAY from me!). The umbrella fabric is solid (not thin ), the "ribs" are solid (nothing flimsy on this umbrella! The open & close function is very smooth, slides open and shut easily, like a Japanese car door...solid! The umbrella was shipped in a box, arrived fast. I'm planning on buying another one to keep in the car. But, they seem to be out of the silver right now, so I'll keep an eye on it. ... show more

    • Extra large umbrella handles Tropical Storm Beta quite well

The media could not be loaded. This umbrella arrived just in time for Tropical Storm Beta and I was able to use the extra large umbrella to remain dry when leaving my home. In the video, you can see it holds up quite well in the wind gust and rain downpour. I like that the attachment mechanisms attaching to the umbrella fabric are plastic so there's very little fear of items rusting or weakening from corrosion. The extra large canopy of the umbrella kept me quite dry and I did not have any concerns of the canopy flipping inside out. I am glad I got the larger version of the umbrella as it keeps my back dry even when I have to hold the umbrella over the heads of my family. So far, so good with this purchase. It's a generously sized umbrella, but unless you walk arm in arm, someone is invariably going to have to be somewhat outside of the protective barrier. My hubby and I are not big people, he is tall, and I am short, but we kept bumping into one another to try to stay underneath together. It was humorous but disappointing because we thought we could take our walks together under it during rain showers. Not so. It would work for a parent and a child perhaps, but more challenging for adults, unless I say, you walk arm in arm. The umbrella itself is well made. No complaints there. ... show more

I am again writing a review on this. Horrible HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PRODUCT. I decided again to just take the umbrella with me. Even though it was already giving me trouble. So I let it up and was walking and when I went to go inside the store. And as soon as I went to put it down everything that was holding the umbrella together broke. I have to remember not to EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER AGAIN. SO SAD!!!! please no one buy this umbrella or anything they make. Will be happily disappointed!!!!! AND I AM ONLY GIVING ONE STAR BECAUSE IT WON'T LET ME SUBMIT MY COMMENT IT IF I DON'T 👎🏽 ... show more
