This foldable duffle is perfect for traveling. Folded, it is a manageable package that can be thrown in a suitcase. It is easy to unfold and transforms into a sturdy duffle. It also has several practical features. One is a shoe compartment, accessed from the outside of the bag, that keeps dirty shoes away from the rest of the contents of the bag. Further various pockets are excellent for organizing your things. There are larger, zippered pockets around the outside of the bag and a smaller, zippered pocket inside. The duffle is reinforced with straps and is quite sturdy—sturdy enough to go through baggage check at an airport. Putting the bag back together is no problem, either. A quick fold and zip makes a pillow-shaped package that is light and easy to transport. Overall, a terrific item!

We'll be traveling soon so I will definitely update this review in terms of its durability. For now, I can tell you that this bag is big and the color doesn't quite match the picture but it's close enough, I suppose. I like the fact that when not in use this can be folded almost to nothing, so space storage isn't a problem. But because that this can be folded flat, it also means that there is hardly any support. I am putting cut up cardboard boxes on the bottom and sides to give them some kind of support. I used a double sided tape to attach the cardboard boxes to keep them in place. The material seems durable, but thin. I really hope that this survives overseas trips. There are pockets that will not be use for my trip this time, but it's good to know that they are there. The zippers are questionable. It doesn't feel of good quality, but we'll see how it holds up. For now, I will give this 5 stars. I will update in a few weeks.

Originally I bought 2 of these Gonex foldable bags to use as "just in case" travel bags. I found they were very durable and handy over 6 months of use. Nothing ripped. A few scuffs from the baggage claim carousels. Packs down small. So I bought morenin various sizes when they went on sale on Prime Day.

I own a few Gonex products and have generally been impressed with their construction and quality, so I eagerly snapped up one of these 60L duffel bags on a Lightning Deal to consider and compare to the other large duffel bags I was considering purchasing for an upcoming Africa safari. (For safaris of any length other than a few days, 60 to 65 liters is the "sweet spot": It's right at the outside edge of the maximum size allowed on small safari planes, and your bag must be soft -- no hard sides or big wheels.) I was very impressed with this duffel for the price, and so I'm going to keep it, but I decided not to risk having this simple nylon bag be my only piece of luggage on a month-long trip that includes 9 flights. It might hold up fine, but it also might be asking too much of a simple nylon bargain bag like this. So I decided to go with the much more expensive bags from Eagle Creek or Osprey that are tougher, more weather-resistant. and have features like U-shaped openings, inner linings, big #10 zippers, more grab handles, and compression straps. HOWEVER, this Gonex duffel bag beats those by a mile in terms of weight and "packability." It weighs next to nothing, and folds up nearly flat, very easily. That makes it a fantastic "extra" bag to toss in the car for a weekend trip, or to pack on a long trip where you might need a backup or an extra piece of luggage to carry purchases back home with you.

I’ve packed this duffel and sent it out UPS, so will update if it doesn’t hold up well. First impressions are sturdy, very roomy, lots of pockets, good straps, good zippers. Came folded in a small envelope, so it will be a space saver when not in use.

This bag is great! Everyone has one in our family. We throw these bags around all summer during our camping trips and during the fall hunt trips too. They never fail. I love the seperate shoe compartment to keep them away from the clothes. They have lots of great zipper storage. And surprised things stay organized for a dump bag. We have orders them in diffrent sizes for the kids and seasons since we love them so much. Great bag!
