I have a set of 9 beautiful postcards I want to frame. Unfortunately the cards are just slightly larger than 4x6 and the openings in this frame measure 3.5" by 5.5", which is just way too small. This might work on your 4x6 photos, but you will still lose a significant amount of the border.

After searching all over for frames with collage layout mat, I finally found these. Unlike other products that state they are wood, but are really plastic, these are wood. More like plywood than solid wood, but they’re sturdy. You need to tape your photos or postcards to the back of the mat. It took me about ten minutes to get the 9 pictures in place and taped down.
