The slingshot is one of many I have tried. Most are fairly simple, where some have more elaborate designs. This one is very cool, and comes with plenty of ammo to get you started, and some extra bands, of different strengths. I really do like the design, it is just not as accurate as I was hoping, with all the moving parts. Most standard slingshots are fairly easy to sight in after just a few shots, you can get used to where the rounds are going, and adjust to be able to hit a target just fine. this one has a very cool design to try to get some added power, but the moving arms make it very hard to shoot consistently. Every time you shoot the little arms or slightly differently aligned, which makes it very hard to plan your shots. It is still very cool, lightweight, compact, very well-made, and does work great. You just may need to practice exclusively with it for a while to get used to the difference. Still a really cool design, with a great grip, and wrist brace to help stabilize it and reduce wrist strain. Highly recommended.

I ordered this Goldboy slingshot because I wanted something to shoot cans with in the backyard that required a bit more skill than an airsoft gun. Boy, did this thing deliver - it's incredibly powerful, and since the springs do a lot of the work, you don't need to pull it far back to get a satisfying straight shot. While I haven't bothered with the laser sight/flashlight, I will say that the wrist attachment was a big disappointment. For one thing, it didn't even fit - I'm not sure if it's a manufacturing or a design defect, but the "slot" it slides into isn't deep enough, which prevents you from screwing it down (see my attached photo). I thought about gluing it, but that would make the slingshot impossible to disassemble and far less portable. In addition, the leatherette "bridge" section didn't seem to come low enough on my arm. Granted, I have kind of a tall fist/skinny wrists, and if I choke up on the grip it becomes less of an issue. Despite these issues I decided to wedge the wrist attachment as firmly into the socket as I could, load up 10 spare metal balls on the wrist attachment magnets, and head outside for some plinking. Unfortunately, after my first shot, the "recoil" sent all 10 BBs flying off the magnets. Maybe this won't be an issue when I learn recoil control/glue the wrist attachment down, but I was disappointed at the perceived weakness of the magnets. But even without the wrist attachment, the Goldboy slingshot is extremely powerful, easy to use and satisfying to destroy cans with. In other words, I think it's worth $60 for the excellent core product and 200rds of ammo alone.
