It can hold heavy items like an enamel cast iron dutch oven, or just all the mugs you've let pile up while you've got bronchitis and only want to have tea and chicken broth. We keep a bin under the dishrack for all our silverware, since it doesn't sit as neatly on the rungs - they're spaced out just enough for some things to slip through. I was hesitant to commit to a gold sink because I was worried if it might look gaudy or become passé really easily with passing trends. But I've dreamed about a gold sink with a matching gold faucet for years and decided finally to just do it, and I have ZERO regrets!!! I'm so happy with how it turned out, and it looks even better in person than in the pictures. The sink is itself seems well constructed, the sound deadening insulation on it is thick and seems to work well. I got the model with the cup rinser, and I must say that component isn't of the best quality, however, this sink is also priced a lot more reasonably than other alternatives I was checking out. It's not of horrible quality by any means, but I would be cautious not to be too rough with it. I replaced the drainage hose for the cup rinser because I felt it both too short and of poor quality, but that was a cheap and easy "upgrade". The chopping board it comes with is of surprisingly good quality and thickness, and gives my cabin kitchenette such a classy touch. I love it! Overall, I'm SO thrilled at how this sink looks in my cabin and would recommend it if you're in the market for a statement piece that won't break the bank. ... show more

Sink is affordable and looks great. I had it installed about a month ago and the only problem I’ve had is that the stainless black finish is already coming off. The description says that it is scratch resistant but the plastic pieces on the rack easily took off the black finish.
