So, I bought these as they claim to be for hot sleepers. Positives are that these sheets are light weight and very comfortable and silky smooth. But... the down side is that they discolor from sweat. The color returns to normal once you wash them (so far) but its pretty clear when you look at the bed who is a hot sweaty sleeper and who is not. Its a little frustrating as you can just look at the bed, see the pillow and know, plus if you pull back the sheets, you can see an approximation of the most sweaty areas of the person sleeping in them. So if your significant other is not a hot sleeper who sweats during sleep as well, they will probably be a little put off by the very visible proof. ... show more

I gave 3 stars because that’s probably a good average. They’re definitely soft but not slick like satin. My issues: pilled within the first 2 uses, a little warm & the top sheet doesn’t stay. My husband is the one to complain about the temp. It can never be cold enough for him. So I didn’t really notice anything about temp. He continues to complain that they’re hot. He won’t even use the pillowcases. The other 2 issues are all me. I wash my sheets in cold water & dry on the low heat setting. They pilled after the second wash. Then, the size of the top sheet is weird. I wish the top sheet had the bands that the fitted one does (those work great). But the flat sheet seems longer on the sides & kind of short front to back. I military tuck & for the life of me can’t get this sheet to stay. Overall, not impressed with my purchase. ... show more
