I wasn’t sure if a jig like this would be worth getting. But after watching some videos it made sense that this would be something useful. I was amazed how well it’s made and weight. For the price you couldn’t come close to making one. After getting this, I was confused as to how the scale worked. But after looking at the instructions, it wasn’t hard to figure out. This jig fit my job site 10” Skilsaw SPT99-11 perfectly and holds solid in the t-track. The bearing is one way to prevent kickback, and can be reversed to work on either side of the blade. After getting it dialed in, this thing was spot on. It’s great for making repetitive cuts at a certain thickness and will come in handy in the shop. For the money, this is worth getting and I recommend it!

It's a very sturdy, well-made tool, though I've only used it twice so far. I ran across this type of tool here looking for other stuff. I compared it to several others and liked its features best. I thank one of the reviewers for explaining how to use the inch/metric gauges. I taped small notes to the top so I'd remember where "zero" starts. It's not hard to just count 16th or 32nds. I like this better than others that only go to 16ths because it's more accurate. I cut the grooved in box corners with a dado blade, and made only 2 test cuts to match the splines. Now all I have to do is read my notes to set up both the groove size for the dado and the width for the splines for future. Very happy with the accuracy.

This jig works great for cutting narrow stock pieces. Just set up the first one and check it for width afterward, make adjustments if necessary and then your off. Cut your piece put the remainder piece back next to it and move the fence over to it to make your next narrow board and repeat as needed. It's easy to use and works quite well. It's well made and easy to adjust. The only thing that I wish it had was a way to easily fold the piece that fits in the miter slot to be parallel to the other piece so it didn't use up so much storage space. But it's a minor thing.

Relatively inexpensive, good quality, and perfect for the 3/4" cuts I needed to make. If I had to make one critique though, I would prefer that the measurement indicator come to a more acute point. As is, it is relatively rounded making high precision a little more fiddly that it really needs to be. Definitely not a deal breaker for the price though.

High quality product. I have used it several times to rip thin strips on the non-fence side of my table saw blade. Much safer. Generally easy to use. Rather the using the built-in measuring gauge that can be confusing, I generally use set up blocks to set the distance between the jig and the blade. Very accurate and I am very satisfied.

This thin rip jig works exactly as advertised. And it fits in a variety of track sizes, from a router table slot to a table saw track. It is durable (no plastic in the body) and the non-reversing roller should help to prevent kick-backs. This jig is highly recommended by this author! —Rsy

Solid piece of equipment. However, on two pieces, I returned the first, the screws holding the pointer for the metric scale were torqued so tight, they rounded the cheap hex wrench provided. Fortunately I had a 2 mm hex wrench and was able to break them free. Otherwise I probably would have given it 5 stars.
