These balls are smaller than I expected, though that's on me I think, as I didn't really consider the size when I read it. I did have to buy a second box of 100. They are as described, including the size. The color set was what I ordered and they look as pictured. The balls are of a soft plastic material, not the harder/thicker plastic of yesteryear. I'm not sure that bespeaks quality and durability but they didn't have any ragged, sharp, or rough edges from the moulde. Honestly, I didn't need them to be durable as we used them to fill the inside of a large, cardboard, stand up elephant for my daughter's baby shower. They are smaller than the typical ball pit balls you would see commercially. I don’t mind and based off of reviews I expected that. 50 balls is a very small amount. We even counted them to be sure. The colors are as pictured and advertised. Debating it I like the colors or what something a little more bright. This ball pit is tiny and they barely cover the bottom but I think it will serve its purpose just fine. Unless they start to go missing ... show more

These are good for toddlers to play with, not ball obsessed dogs. The balls are not easy to crush, even for a 40yr old person standing on them (I am 150lbs!)
