Fyi, these balls are SMALLER than what 90's kids like me remember from our childhood, which is why I was off with estimating the right quantity I would need! However, I love the colors, thickness, and durability, and the smaller size is actually great for my toddler to be able to hold and pick up in one hand! I measured the coverage - it takes about 30 balls to fill 1 square foot of coverage 1 layer deep, so keep than in mind when calculating how many you need! I bought these for my daughter when she was about 1 and half years old. Initially she didn’t know how to play with them but over time she got used to them. She now almost 4 and she still plays with them. They are easy to clean, and very durable. I would recommend that anyone gets these for their kids ball pit. We placed the order and the balls came the next day. They completely cover the bottom of the 2‘ x 3‘ Graco pack and play. We may order another box we would buy this again.
