I purchased the Vpro range finder and it did not function well. I've been using range finders for three or four years and it was immediately clear that the device didn't work as it should; it didn't lock on target, provided inconsistent distance readings, and couldn't find a target more than about 150 yards out. I sent an email to the sellers' customer service address describing problems with the device. I got a reply within 24 hours and they sent me a replacement that arrived within about a week. The new device works perfectly. Locks on the pin quickly and gives accurate and consistent distance readings. You get a nice case, good instructions, very good device, outstanding customer service. Bought in March 2022 after my Bushnell (of 7 years) drowned in three days of torrential rains while playing in Florida. Returned to Daytona Beach this March (annual trip) and my GOGOGO got soaked riding out a deluge while attached to the golf cart vertical strut. Tried everything to dry it out but couldn't revive it. The range finder worked like a champ, was accurate and easy to use. Great value for the money and just ordered a replacement and now pack a Ziplock bag to shield it next time heavy rain comes my way. ... show more

I don't know why people are saying it's not accurate. I measured at 12 yards, 3 yards, 10 yards, 15 meters, 100 yards and 100 meters both with and without gear, and all with either a tape measure or engineering wheel. And it was correct almost all of the time. I will say it's very touchy so if you go to range something and range 20 feet past it because you were just a little bit off because the wind blew, blame that on operator error, not the tool. In all fairness I have not used many finders, but I'm going to camo it all up and it does exactly what I want it to do. ... show more

Updating after 10 rounds. No brainer, this thing works perfect. Highly recommend. Everything you'd expect to work works. I have no idea what EXTRAs come from a $500 range finder, but this one is great. I have a Garmin GPS and the yardages all match up. The Vibration sensor for Flag lock works perfect. The slope (which I have never used before) works great, and actually has helped me shoot better. I have 2 of by best rounds in 10 years since buying this. (Yes, of course its not all due to the laser, but its not hurting). For sub $100, I don't know why you would buy anything else. Case is nice. The magnetic holder is nice. Only thing, I would recommend, carrying a extra set of batteries. just in case. I am 10 rounds in, over 2 months, and have not had it die yet. What else is one looking for? A fancier brand? No one cares. I would buy again. 5 ***** Beach and Golf Bum Original Review------------------ 1 round in the book, got 4 more this week so I will update. Unit looks great, easy to set up. Definitely spend 1 minute on the instruction so you can get it set for golf, as it also has a hunting function. I've never used the slope function, and that definitely made a difference in my game. I didn't realize how much a little slope can make a difference in over all distance, so that was fun. Pin lock was pretty easy, and I had a GPS, and distances were within 1 yard. Like any laser finder I also shoot the pin 2x, sometimes I am hitting a tree, but the pin lock worked great. I can't believe how cheap this is, it looks exactly like any higher end one and so far works the same. Save yourself a bunch of $$. I have admittedly limited exposure to rangefinders, but during my use, this thing has been excellent. It locks readily, and is very consistent between measurements. It would be nice to have image stabilization to help with the shaky picture that comes with magnifying a handheld device, but this works just fine. Distances are consistent with my known clubbing, so I trust it as far as my slightly better than average game goes. If I made my living golfing, I'd spring for something higher end, but I don't. If I leave this in a cart by accident, it won't ruin my day. Great bang for the buck. ... show more

Here are seven things to love about this product: (1) Price - way cheaper than expensive range finders with all the same bells and whistles. (2) Magnet - spend a few more dollars and get the MTL version that comes with the magnet. It’s strong and gives you a lot of confidence leaving it on the cart post. (3) Accuracy - I noticed almost no difference when comparing it against my friend’s more expensive range finder. (4) Flag Lock - there is a feature that allows you to be confident you’ve locked on to the flag and not a tree behind it. (5) Slope - turning the slope on/off is super easy if you need to play in an event that doesn’t allow it. (6) Fit - the way this range finder fits in you hand is awesome. Seems like a minor thing, but it’s something you’ll enjoy when using it. (7) Bag - the bag it comes in seems to be a good quality and resembles the more expensive brands. All in all, great product for a good price. Not sure why others would go for more expensive products. Perhaps they have pro shop credit to use up. ... show more

Have had this item now for over 3 months. The quality is very poor and it struggles to give consistent data. So I end up having to shoot a target multiple times to get what I think is close to the number. The bigger issue is it is made so cheaply it can not handle being used outside. Within a few weeks something got on to the lenses that wouldn't wipe off. This has been causing additional issues. I went clean it with alcohol wipe and moisture got inside the lenses immediately. I also figure out that the dirt on the lenses was inside the device. How it got dirt inside is beyond me, never drop it or had it out in wet weather. This device is supposed to be water resistance, so you figure it could handle a alcohol wipe. It is even worse now. Extremely disappointed will not buy from this company again. ... show more
