Ever since I got this glorious white piano bench, my talent has become physically overwhelming. I sit down, and instantly the air changes—birds gather outside, neighbors weep gently through the walls, and even my dog looks at me with newfound respect. The bench itself is sturdy, stylish, and clearly aware it’s supporting greatness. It whispers, “Play, maestro,” every time I sit. Am I a prodigy? Maybe. Did I just play “Twinkle Twinkle” with such raw emotion that the houseplants leaned in? Absolutely. Also, there’s storage inside—where I keep sheet music and my humble attitude. This was packaged wonderfully. Super easy to put together and it looks beautiful. The black part on the legs and frame has a slight shine to it. The leather seat is padded and smooth. Really love this but was bummed one of the legs was slightly damaged. Will be contacting the company to see if they will replace the one leg for me.

For far too long, I have intended to get a proper piano bench with storage to go with my Technics Digital Piano and replace the default bench that came with it. I finally purchased the bench so my daughter and I can sit next to each other and play duets or sing Christmas carols. It was easy to assemble, just requiring attaching the legs (directions are basic but a few seconds of puzzling out the logistics and voila). I did need to fetch an awl and needle nose pliers to jimmy the clear plastic protectors off the screws before I could begin following the assembly directions using the included thin wrench. So far it seems sturdy. I was able to put all my Christmas music in the bench - out of sight but easy to access when I need it. I would say the padded bench is slightly less comfy than my original bench - it's a bit harder, less cushy - but it's fine. Given that I don't spend hours every day at the keyboard, it is more than adequate for my needs.

This piano bench is heavy duty and quite sturdy. It opens for piano books or other storage needs. The seat cushion is durable, and has a large enough depth for all body types. The brown color matches our piano beautifully. Worth every penny!

Sold by Goflame (Golflame), this bench is manufactured by COSTWAY, according to: USER'S MANUAL - Ordinary Piano Stool HW60296\HW60305\HW60306, a single sheet with little useful content. Nothing makes me believe that any other affordable bench would be any better. This "duet" size bench has plenty of storage under the seat, but the idea of sharing the bench with another adult is a joke - as I knew before buying. (A thin mom & child, OK.) Despite defects, I decided the product was good enough to keep. The following info relates to the photos. 1. SHIPING DAMAGE: The package arrived damaged via UPS. Amazon's Prime shipping is so good in every way that the other shippers appear to be providing super-cheap options to compete. I ordered on 10 Sep, and it arrived 22 Sep 2021. It appears to have sat on a truck for many days, perhaps waiting for more packages, with no tracking info available and plenty of time to be abused. (I have had a similar delay with USPS.) 2. PRODUCT DAMAGE: Whatever pierced the package dinged the edge of the underside of the bench. Ugh. It looks big in the photo, but I can only find it because I know it is there. 3. LEG BOLT PROTECTOR: I used a pair of pliers to remove the vinyl protector from each leg bolt. 4. UNDER-LID VELVET: Nice enough, but one of the staples did not sink. I can fix that either with another staple or a couple of tacks. 5. ASSEMBLY: The assembly is straightforward, but I didn't even try their wrench. Unfortunately, this leaves the issue of how much to tighten the nut. (Their wrench is self-limiting.) If the bench wobbles, tighten it more. Mine is sturdy enough for me, around 210#. The inch or so of padding is sufficient, and apparently more than on some. If you want more padding, check out X benches; you'll have to do without storage. Update, 4 Nov 2021: After almost two months, the legs seemed a little loose. I got out my 17mm wrench and tightened them up. Depending on your weight and wiggle, expect to do this. The little wrench that came with the bench is nearly useless for this tightening.
