I was excited to use this. I went to the lake and hooked the straps on, once I put in on my shoulder and started walking the plastic on the straps broke…paddleboard fell on my foot. Would not recommend

I have an inflatable paddleboard that is nevertheless pretty heavy when I am trying to get it from my car to the water (I am a 5'2" 130-lbs female). I *can* carry it, but it's not the easiest, and now these straps make it the easiest. All I do is slip the straps around the board, and I can carry it on my shoulder, which frees up my hands to carry the paddle. And these straps have a spot for the paddle, too, so, theoretically, I could carry it all on my shoulder. Once I get the board in the water, the straps fold up into their pouch, which has a handy lobster clip for clipping onto the board's elastics. The pouch has enough space--a mesh front pocket and a zippered back compartment--to store my car keys and sunglasses as well. The pouch is water-resistant, but I don't think that it's waterPROOF--it's made of nylon fabric and not plastic. It won't float if you drop it in the water, so use that clip! For a casual paddleboarder, though, this is a nice addition to your gear, and doesn't take up too much weight or space.

If you've carried an 11' paddle board for a long distance you know how cumbersome and heavy they can get. For this reason and the lack of 3 arms, I started a search for an apparatus to assist with this chore. I found this one and it seemed like it could be a good solution at a decent price. When I opened it all up my first thought was, "Not sure how they got it all in there and if I can get all of it back in the bag." To my surprise I was able to cram it all back in. It works well to assist with carrying your SUP and has a nice zip up pocket for keys etc. The only thing I would change is that ugly orange trim and make the pocket waterproof.

I haven’t made use of my kayak because it is so heavy for me to move on my own. I always have to wait until someone can go and help me get it to and from the water. These straps make me so much more independent! They are very well made and are adjustable for the equipment you are using. There are no instructions, but I was able to figure it out by looking at the picture in the listing. It took me a bit to adjust the straps so that they fit my particular kayak, but now that I have them adjusted, I shouldn’t have to redo it every time I want to go to the lake. It still feels a little awkward just because of the length of my kayak but the padded strap takes the pressure off of my shoulder and I feel confident in moving the kayak around.

I needed something like this as I have difficulty carrying my paddle board from the car to the beach due to weak arms. By putting the carry straps around the board and clipping to the shoulder strap across my body, I am able to easily carry the weight without problem. Pads protect my board from scratches where the carry straps hook together, and a padded shoulder strap make it comfortable on my shoulder. I like that it comes with a storage bag, as I don't want to leave this carrier in the garage to protect it from the humidity and heat. If you paddle board and have to carry your gear more than a short distance, you would really appreciate this!

I have a very light inflatable paddleboard, and this works fine to carry it so I have my hands free. I used it about four times this summer and it hasn’t given me any problems.
