Overall we are very happy with this purchase! We covered a 13'X18' patch for a "gathering place". I was very nervous about spending nearly $400 on "fake grass". Alas it arrived, all my worries quickly went away! What an instant improvement to our seating area!! Not to mention, the dog LOVES it as well, haha. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5, because the edges do begin to fray as soon as you un-fold it. I was already planning on playing gravel around the borders, but for those who are not planning on a border, you may want to rethink it. I purchase this same rug for our patio one year ago. It served it's purpose well. Very durable. We have a Great Pyrenees and her hair was easy to clean from this too. I purchased my second one after relocating back TX. Patio is uncovered and rug is secured by 12 double folded pieces of Gorilla tape due to the windy conditions. This artificial turf is exactly as described. It is green in color that matches my lawn and measures 5' x 8' for my needs. The artificial turf will last a few months before the bottom starts breaking down. The black portion starts to deteriorate and break off leaving small black pieces on the ground where it is stored. Never hit off my turf was only used as a hitters box for my batting cage and still didn't last more than a few moths. I'm sure will not hold up when hitting golf balls off the mat. ... show more

We wanted a simulated grass carpet for under our patio gazebo. It fit the bill perfectly but we were truly surprised at the reaistic color and feel. There were some minor difficulties with the creases left by the packaged folds, however, those mostly disppeared after leaving the carpet in the sun for a full day before positioning it. The layering is exceptional/ However, if you have a windy area, recommended something to hold the edges down as the carpet is not heavy and is easily lifted by the wind. This looks like the 9.99 carpet u can buy at big lots. It’s cheap, flimsy and breaks apart just opening package. I think temu has finally taken over Amazon and we are to expect cheap products
