Description

The latest iteration of GFB's feature-packed electronic boost controller now has the ability to monitor and display your engine's air/fuel ratio in either Lambda or AFR. By connecting the analogue output of most wideband O2 controllers (i.e. Innovate LC-2, AEM UEGO etc, sold separately) to the G-Force III's auxiliary input, you can toggle between boost pressure and air/fuel ratio display. A lean mixture at high boost can destroy an engine in seconds, and a stand-alone AFR gauge is next to useless when accelerating hard as your concentration is likely to be (and should be!) on the road in front of you. The G-Force III safeguards your engine against a lean mixture by lowering boost to the minimum setting, and visibly warning you by flashing the display lighting. Set up to 6 boost presets and select on the fly, use the scramble feature for overtaking, launching, towing, or protecting the engine, and you can even customize the lighting colour to suit your interior! No other EBC on the market offers the features, control, ease of use, and value for money like the G-Force III! Just like the GFB 3004 G-Force II but better with the added A/F Ratio feature! Features: For boost pressures up to 50psi (3.45bar, 345kpa) Adjust peak boost, rise rate, and closed-loop correction Display boost pressure in Psi, Bar, or Kpa 6 boost presets, individually programmable Unique "scramble" feature with remote switching Peak boost recall Air/fuel ratio display in AFR or lambda (when connected to a wideband o2 controller) Separately adjustable overboost and lean mixture warning/boost cut Touch buttons with user selectable illumination colours Auxiliary input to switch boost presets or activate scramble 1/2" sizecasing, fits standard stereo slot Supplied with mac 3-port solenoid

  • Amazing
how about this product on a whim because I couldn't find anyone that had used one or anyone that had posted about one. I'm using one on my turbo LS build and actually love it. The AFR cut is great as well. I'm using an AEM wide band and the reading on the boost controller is slightly off but I just make up for it on the boost cut for AFR. ... show more

  • WOW..this woke up my Miata.
I have a Flyin Miata turbo kit on my 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata. I have been using a manual boost controller but wanted more low end boost. This unit fit the bill. Easy to hook up and use. All I can add is...WOW!! I should have done this years ago. GREAT product.

  • Junk
In the 3 years I've had this, I had to return it because it quit responding to button presses. Now it's not displaying half the bars on the screen, and 90% of the time it doesn't respond to button presses. Great when it works, but mostly just junk.

  • It works with a learning curve
So, I start with the things I like about GFB3, It’s small/ compact, Lots of long wires so it can be installed in where in the cabin The valve controller is small and works very quickly when setup. What I didn’t like; No adjustment of the displays brightness, it’s to bright for night driving, so I’ll relocate it or make a cover, Not eoungh pressure hose, the lengths where short so I had to buy more, and had the buy clamps as zip ties don’t last long in heat, all adding to my cost. Speaking of cost, $387, is a lot of cash for a little bit. The controller didn’t have mounting hardware, just zip ties , again for the cash more is needed. Lastly the packaging was a mess, seamed like someone just tossed it in a box an tossed it in another box. So , once installed it takes a bit of trial and error, lots of launches and stops, and adjustments . The verbiage in the manual could have been written clearly instead of Duty Cycle for adjusting PSI, and some other things. Once I achieved the psi and overboost and sensitive it works well, so far. Ran my 1.8t to 19.8psi and it held, OB set at 23 for now. Only time will time how long it last, I think 4-5 years and then worth the monies, otherwise….. ... show more

  • Just stopped working
After a month, it stopped controlling the solenoid that maintains the boost. Im not happy about this at all. Wish I could get my money back.

  • Feels cheap and confirmed by breaking in less then a week
Broke within 1 week . The preset doez not hold overnight and boost shows a strange boost number . manufacturer doesn't respond to emails in reference to returning or fixing the product.
